    SUBJECT : Survey on Teacher Readiness for Distance Education

    DATE : April 16, 2020

    This Department is developing a Learning Continuity Plan which will guide all operating
    units on the basic education directions, school year opening, learning delivery modalities and
    work arrangements considering the COVID-19 pandemic.

    One of the crucial information that will inform the development of the plan is the readiness
    of teachers in digital education and distance learning. Due to uncertainties, we need to plan ahead
    and work on responsive iterventions.

    In this light, all School Heads (SHs) are required to accomplish the survey on the teacher
    readiness on distance education using the attached Excel file following the guidelines below:

    1. Through on-line, SHs shall accomplish the Sheet 1 of the file.


    2. There is no need to indicate the names of the teachers.
    3. A teacher may be counted twice if he/she has desktop or a laptop and at the same time
    with smartphone or a tablet.
    4. The SH shall submit this to their respective Planning Officers for consolidation.

    Planning Officers shall consolidate the lists submitted by the SHs using the Sheet 2 of the
    Excel file and should be verified by the Schools Division Superintendent for final submission to
    [email protected]., due on April 24, 2020.
