    COMES NOW Defendants, WILSON NAVARRO and MARY ANN


    NAVARRO, through counsel from the Public Attorney’s Office, and unto
    this Honorable Court, most respectfully state that:

    1. The Supreme Court issued A.M. No, 11-1-6-SC-PHILJA dated


    January 11, 2011, entitled “CONSOLIDATED AND REVISED
    GUIDELINES TO IMPLEMENT THE EXPANDED COVERAGE OF
    COURT-ANNEXED MEDIATION (CAM) AND JUDICIAL DISPUTE
    RESOLUTION (JDR)”.

    2. Its purpose is “to put an end to pending litigation through


    compromise agreement of the parties and thereby help solve the
    ever-pressing problem of court docket congestion”. It is also
    intended “to empower the parties to resolve their own disputes
    and give practical effect to the State Policy expressly stated in the
    ADR Act of 2004 (R.A. No. 9285)”.

    3. The records of the case show that the case has not been referred
    to Judicial Dispute Resolution which is a vital avenue for a possible
    compromise agreement of the parties and also to unclog court
    dockets.

    4. In view of the foregoing, we are respectfully praying that the case


    be referred to Judicial Dispute Resolution on 30 August 2018 or at
    any date convenient to the JDR Judge.

    5. This Motion is not intended for delay but solely due to the
    foregoing reasons.

    PRAYER

    WHEREFORE, Defendants most respectfully pray on this Honorable


    Court that the case be referred to Judicial Dispute Resolution.
