1. Explain the relationship among the groups involved in community-based tourism.

These three groups are related and have an important relationship with each other in achieving
economic, social, and environmentally sustainable development in their community. First group is the
Community wherein they serve as the reservoir of manpower in order for a project to be successful, the
community must agree with it and they have to be consulted on any tourism-related projects as they are
the direct recipients of its impact. Next group is the Government in which they act as the intermediary
between the community and the private sector and it entices potential investors to invest in the country.
And lastly, the third group is the Private Sector that provides the influx of investments as well as capacity
building for the community. These three groups has a significance used or relations to each other
because without the community in the are there is no manpower to do the project and to support it that
is why community are the primary people that should have the knowledge about the upcoming projects
and the government because they are the one who makes everything organized and managed it to
attract more investors and of course the private owners that brought investment in the community for
the development and additional income.
2. Discuss what is meant by value innovation as the emphasis of Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS).
Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) uses the logic of value innovation which means thinking beyond
outperforming the rivals in an existing industry, and focuses on creating a leap for buyers and the
company, thereby opening a new and uncontested market space. It is a business approach that focuses
on creating new market spaces instead of fighting competitors and to create a new demand and change
the market enough to render the competition irrelevant in that market.
