    Greetings!

    It is with immense pleasure that the Government New


    Law College, Indore, presents the GNLC' FIRST ALL INDIA
    MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2020 to be held from 20th
    to 22nd March '2020. We take this occasion to invite your
    esteemed institution to participate in the competition
    and extend to us the privilege of hosting the
    participating team. It will be our endeavour to create an
    atmosphere of invigorating intellectual challenges and
    the opportunity to learn court craft through simulated
    experiences in the competition. We look forward to a

    ABOUT INSTITUTION

    The Govt. New Law College (GNLC) Indore has been integral part of Holkar Science College, which was
    established 125 years ago in the year 1891. It was in the year 1923 when the Law education started in the
    Holkar College, In the year 1961, Arts & Commerce and Law branches were separated from the Holkar
    College and a new entity, names as Government Arts & Commerce College, was formed. The foundation
    stone of the college building was kept by the Prime Minister Late Shree Jawaharlal Nehru in 1958, further
    to which was inaugurated by famous philosopher and President Late Dr. Radha Krishnan in 1960. The
    college started its new session in the year 1961 as per the directives of the Bar Council of India, Govt. of
    Madhya Pradesh established separate law college in 2003. This is when GNLC came was formed . The
    college has been a centre for LL. M and research since 1964 with its own library with enriched information
    sources.

    Government New Law College Indore provide students with quality academic environment. College has
    developed all the necessary infrastructural facilities. For the overall growth of the students the college
    provides them with the facilities of legal and camp counselling, Moot Court, Legal Quiz, Debate,
    Extempore, Youth Parliament, Parliamentary Debate. Institute has organized from time to time, lectures of
    renowned thinkers, historians, political science experts, judges, lawyers and jurists. In the same light
    college is organizing National Moot Court Competition 2020.
