    Dr. Beulah Shekhar is the Professor & Head of the Department of Criminology
    and Criminal Justice Sciences, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and also
    Co coordinator of the UGC sponsored programs, Victimology & Victim
    Assistance and The Human rights & Duties Education. She holds degrees
    in Womens’ Studies, Psychology, Education Management, Human rights,
    Victimology, Counseling and Law. She is involved in the training of the police
    & and the judiciary in the concepts of Victimology to fill the gaps in services
    to victims of crime in the Criminal Justice System in India. She has served as a
    member of National Consultations in various reforms and evaluations of the
    legislation and the working of the Criminal Justice Systems. She was invited as
    CRIMINOLOGY
    Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
    an individual expert at the 12th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention
    and Criminal Justice, in Brazil and part of the Delegation of the World Society
    of Victimology in the Crime Commission at Vienna in May 2011 and the
    UN preparatory meeting at San Jose, Costa Rica in February 2014. She was
    awarded the prestigious Indo-Hungarian fellowship in 2010 and was a visiting
    researcher at the University of Montreal in 2011. She was also the recipient
    of the Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship 2013- 2014, recipient of the
    Fulbright Fellowship 2014-2015 has worked in the John Jay College of Criminal
    Justice, New York from November 2014.
    Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev P. Sahni is the Professor and Principal Director of the Jindal

    Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS), Director for Center for Victimology and
    Psychological Sciences, Member of the Governing Body, and Advisor to the Vice
    Chancellor at O.P. Jindal Global University. His contribution across the globe
    has been cosmic. He has worked as a Research Scientist at several Universities
    like University of Houston, Texas; University of Illinois, Chicago to name a few.
    With a perfect blend of academics and industry exposure, he has been invited

    by several institutes in over 30 countries. Dr. Sahni has several awards to his
    credit and has recently been nominated as a Member of the Board of Directors
    of the International Society of Criminology. He is also a UN liaison committee
    member of World Society of Victimology (WSV). Among his several academic
    endeavors he has been regularly representing India at United Nations Office on
    Drugs and Crime (UNODC – Austria, Doha, Japan) and Academic Council on
    the United Nations System (ACUNS – South Africa). He has published more
    than 30 research articles in International and National Indexed Journals, and
    about 20 book chapters. With 14 Books to his credit, some of the recent
    ones are Death Penalty (Springer), Internet Infidelity (Springer), Digital Piracy
    in the Digital Era (Springer), Crime and Criminal Law Perspectives on Global
    Migration (Har-Anand), Global Victimology: New Voices (Universal Law), and
    Confict: The Police and The People (Lexis Nexis).
