    Project Modules : Module 01

    Project Topic : Project Finance – Modeling and Analysis

    Module-1 : Basics of Project Finance (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to go through the basics of Project Finance and Non-Recourse Debt. How it's different from
    Corporate Finance. What are the eligible sectors for project finance and why? All other relevant information and
    terminologies related to Project Finance. They need to prepare a list of 20 new terms that they learned and understand in
    this module.

    Project Topic : Climate Change and Sustainable Development

    Module-1 : Understanding CC and SD (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to go through the basic concepts and theory of Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
    What causes CC? And its relation to Carbon Footprints of population and organizations. How greenhouse emission, rise of
    sea level, and CC are connected with the instability of Climate in the last 100 years. What are the various Sustainable
    Development measures and methods implemented to fight CC. Especially in India, China and the EU.

    Project Topic : Solar PV – Simulation and Designing

    Module-1 : Basics of Solar PV Power Plant (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to go through the basics of Solar PV Power Project. Its components and installation. PV
    Panels, Inverters, Transformers, Electrical Designing (AC and DC). System sizing and calculations. Solar Resource
    Assessment.

    Project Topic : Waste to Energy – MSW Management

    Module-1 : Basics of Wastes and Solid Wastes (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to go through the basics of different types of wastes. Their segregation and sorting and
    detailing. Different types of solid wastes. Their decomposition methods issues and challenges of waste decomposition.

    Project Topic : Green Building – Calculation and Ratings

    Module-1 : Basics of Green Building (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to learn and understand the basics of green building and energy efficient buildings. Its
    importance and properties. How EPI (Energy Performance Index) and SEC ( Specific Energy Consumption is calculated in
    different buildings. Optimization of Heat and Electric loads in Buildings.

    Project Topic : Electric Vehicle – Techno-Commercial Analysis

    Module-1 : Basics of EV (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to go through the basics of Electric Vehicle. They need to read and understand the working,
    designing, components, types, manufacturer and effectiveness of EV. The overall impact of EV in the environment. Pros
    and Cons of using EV on a large scale. All other relevant information on EV. They need to prepare a list of 20 new terms
    that they learned and understand in this module.

    Project Topic : Case Study and Analysis

    Module-1 : Profile and Skill Analysis (10 Days)

    In this module, interns need to do reverse engineering on the job profiles that he/she wants to have. They need to analyze
    the job description along with skills and knowledge required for that job. They have to make proper planning for enhancing
    their skills and knowledge. Interns need to search for the basics of case study learning and analysis.
