Rationale
This faculty development training program will be blend of theory and hands-on training from
industry experts and academicians working in IoT. This faculty development program also
highlights on research trends in IoT. This faculty development programme (FDP) is devoted to
addressing the need to enhance the knowledge about the latest technologies pertaining to Internet
of Things.
This FDP provides practical foundation level training that enables immediate and effective
participation in IoT projects. The FDP covers major IoT applications and important issues.
Internet of Things is a new revolution of the Internet. A world where the real, digital and the
virtual are converging to create smart environments that make energy, transport, cities and many
other areas more intelligent.
Objective
The objective of the workshop is to:
1. Introduce the participants to the amazing world of IoT and its fascinating applications.
2. Provide innovative practical session with research aspect for problem solving.
3. Spread awareness about IoT based research.
4. Train the participants to install, configure and use Raspberry pi kit.
5. Train the participants to do GPIO programming and clustering of Raspberry pi
