    Klaus Dittrich—Chairman and CEO, Messe München GmbH

    Klaus Dittrich (born in 1955 in Gauting near Munich) has been Chairman and
    CEO of Messe München GmbH since January 2010. In this role he is also
    responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Messe
    München Group.

    He is also in charge of the trade fairs BAUMA, ISPO MUNICH, ISPO BEIJING,
    ISPO SHANGHAI, INHORGENTA MUNICH and EXPO REAL. Internally, his
    areas of responsibility include the Central Divisions of Corporate Strategy and
    Personnel, the new digital Business Unit and the Departments of Corporate
    Marketing and Corporate Communications. In addition, Klaus Dittrich is a
    member of the Management Board of GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen.

    Dittrich came to the company as Deputy Managing Director in April 2002 and
    was appointed Managing Director in February 2003. In that position he was
    responsible for the trade fairs in the Business Unit for New Technologies in
    Germany and abroad. He was also responsible for the Central Divisions Sales
    Germany and IT Germany.
    Dittrich graduated with a Master of Arts in German and Political Science from
    the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich. In 1980 he entered the civil service
    of the State of Bavaria, and from 1982 onwards he held various positions in
    association work. He acquired extensive expertise in business and industry as a
    member of the supervisory and executive boards of a number of industrial and
    service enterprises.

    Between 1990 and 1995 Klaus Dittrich had a seat on Munich City Council. One
    of the tasks in which he was involved, in the Committee for Labor and Economic
    Development and the Committee for Urban Planning and Building Regulation,
    was the preparation and design of the new exhibition center. Between 1997 and
    1999, Klaus Dittrich was a member of the Bavarian Senate.

    Mr. Dittrich is a Member of the Board of the Association of the German Trade Fair
    Industry (AUMA) and Chairman of FKM—the Society of Voluntary Control of Fair
    and Exhibition Statistics. He belongs to the Board of Directors of the Global
    Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI); he is a member of the presiding
    committee of the economic advisory association Wirtschaftsbeirat Bayern; a
    board member of the Italian Chamber of Commerce Munich-Stuttgart; is Vice
    President of the Senate of Economy (Senat der Wirtschaft); and he is a member
    of the plenary assembly of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich
    and Upper Bavaria.

    He has also been appointed to the economic advisory councils of Bayern LB,
    Stadtsparkasse München and TÜV Süd. In January 2016, the Shanghai
    Municipal Commission of Commerce has officially appointed him as “Adviser of
    Exhibition and Convention Industry in Shanghai” for the next two years.

    Klaus Dittrich is married and has two grown children. His hobbies are mountain-
    climbing, skiing, motorcycling, long-distance running and literature.
