The 39th North Zone Shooting Championship 2019 in Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun (NR) events & ISSF
Shotgun events will be held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, New Delhi from 9th to 20th
October 2019 as per rules and regulations under NRAI Match Book 2018 (amended). This
championship will be conducted by Haryana Rifle Associationunder the aegis of the National
Rifle Association of India.
Those competitors, who want to participate in this competition, are requested to go through the
following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful
conduct of the above competitions.
This Championship is open to shooters belonging to the North Zone only as stated above
and shooters from other States are not permitted to participate in this Championship in
any match including for achieving MQS score as Guest Shooter. The shooters from para
military forces, AI, ONGC and other affiliated units of NRAI, who are domicile or having
posting in the Northern States as stated above shall be eligible to represent their unit or state.
Shooters, who are below 21 years and 19 years of age as on 31st December 2019, will be
considered under the category of JUNIORS (1999 onwards) and YOUTH (2001 onwards)
respectively for the Championship. SHOOTERS BELOW THE AGE OF 12 YEARS ARE
NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN FIRE ARM MATCHES DURING THIS
CHAMPIONSHIP.SIMILARLY SHOOTERS BELOW THE AGE OF 10 YEARS ARE
NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN AIR WEAPON EVENTS.
Shooters, who have not received/ applied for their Shooter ID number, must immediately visit
our website www.thenrai.in to check status/apply for their Shooter ID number

The entries will be accepted through respective affiliated State Rifle Association/Units only.
THE ENTRIES WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED “NRAI’s ONLINE SYSTEM” and no
paper entry will be accepted. The Shooters are required to visit our website www.nrai.org
to file their entries along with online payment of entry fee. The online entries with normal
fee will be accepted till 9 PM on30th September 2019. Late entries with triple entry fee will
be accepted till 9 PM 3rd October 2019.
In case any Shooter/Affiliated unit need any assistance for filing the entry, he/she must
approach NRAI immediately BUT before 3 PM on 30th September 2019 so that their
entries are accepted with normal fee. Shooters contacting for assistance after30th
September 2019 are liable to pay triple fee. Shooters may contact Mr. Anjan

Shooters, who achieved scores as per rule 1.4. of NRAI Match Book are eligible to participate in
this Championship. Shooters achieving scores as per rule 17.6 of NRAI Match Book 2018 (as
amended from time to time) will be allowed to participate in 63rdNSCC. Copies of Clauses
1.4 and 17.6 are attached herewith at Annexure “B” & B/1” for your ready reference.
Entry fee will not be refunded except in the event of the match being cancelled. The entry fee
should be paid “online” and no cash/draft will be accepted. Shooters will be permitted to shoot
only in the details and lanes allotted to them. No requests regarding change of firing
points/relays/dates will be entertained. Protest fee is Rs. 300/-.
The State Rifle Associations/Units will be imposed a penalty of Rs. 3000/- per shooter in case
their shooters score below 15% of the qualifying score as per NRAI Match Book rule 1.4 during
Zonal Championship under Rule 16.15 of NRAI Match Book. The State/Unit must deposit the
penalty amount with NRAI immediately otherwise shooters from that unit/state will not be
allowed to participate in any competition conducted by NRAI. The Secretary General may also
call for explanation of the unit/state for sending such shooters. Shooters participating in
AIGVMSC on the basis of their performance during any competition conducted by NRAI shall
be exempted.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend the rules at any time at its sole discretion
for events/circumstances beyond its control. Any decision made by the Organizing Committee in
any such matter will be final. All participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations
for the competitions. Discipline on and off the field is very essential. Shooting practice in hotels
is strictly prohibited.
Shooting kit (clothing & Equipment) of the competitors during the competition will be strictly
according to ISSF Rules.
