Vedantu’s online tutoring platform enables LIVE learning between a teacher and a
student. On Vedantu, a teacher is able to give personalized teaching using two-way
audio, video and white boarding tools where both teacher and student are able to
see, hear, write and interact in real-time. Imagine it like 'Skype' custom made for
education. Vedantu currently caters to 6th grade to 12th grade and prepares for
school boards, competitive examinations and co-curricular courses as well.

Role Overview:
This is your opportunity to partner with India’s leading education technology
company to deliver the world’s best ‘coding for kids’ program. This program aims to
transform the children from consumers to creators of technology. It will equip them
with the skills to use technology to create their own apps, animations and games.
You will also be receiving detailed training on teaching the most critical skills of the
future- computational thinking, creativity and collaboration. All this while earning 2x
of regular teachers and working from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities - What to expect from the role?

➢ Conduct live online sessions with students (age group: 6-12) to teach block-

➢ Participate in certified training programs to learn how to teach 21st Century

Skills using coding
➢ Assist curriculum developers and content creators to refine the course
Required Skills and Experience - What are we expecting

from you?
➢ Passion for education and teaching for kids is a must
➢ Prior teaching experience is a must (not necessarily computer science)
➢ Prior experience of teaching computer science or exposure to computer
programming is preferred
➢ Excellent written and communication skills
➢ Ability to engage children in a learning session and the ability to transform
every class into a joy-filled learning experience
➢ Prior experience in designing curriculum/ creating lesson plans is a must
➢ Should have an understanding of different pedagogical approaches and
learner-centric approach
Duration of teaching:
30 hours per week (Time 4:00pm-9:00pm Monday-Friday)
(Time 10:00am-9:00pm Saturday-Sunday)
120 hours per month mandatory.
Qualification:
Any stream from technical background.
B. tech, BCA is preferred, candidates with TFI fellowship would be preferred
Necessary Requirements:
➢ Should have own laptop or desktop computer equipped with a webcam.
➢ High speed internet connection.
➢ Excellent computer skills.
➢ Persona: Young energetic teachers, CS background (preferred but not
mandatory), pleasant and kid loving.

Salary
30,000 per month
Conditions
Candidate has to sign an agreement for 1 year with Vedantu.
