LION CUBS
The 2020 junior program will be coordinated again by Lindsey Wright,
inspiring our Lion Cubs with her worldly playing and coaching expertise,
and Junior Vice President, Gillian Fairweather.
Alongside Lindsey is an enthusiastic group of coaches whom have played

at various elite levels including Premier League, state representation at
junior and senior age groups and Internationally - providing our Lions Cubs
with a unique development experience and pathway. See below for the

LION CUBS
Ball Kids ‘On-The-Bench’ Experience  
A new
initiative for junior ball kids at Premier 1 Women home-games is to

offer an 'On-The-Bench' experience where ball kids will get the
opportunity to listen to the pre-game, half time and post-game discussions
with the

team. If this is something you would be interested in, please

Specialist Junior GK Coaching

AHL/Hockey One, TIS and Lions Premier 1 GK Ruby-Rose will be running
two Junior GK sessions on Thursdays during the junior season. Ruby-
Rose has extensive knowledge having played at an elite level and is

excited to work with our juniors to enhance their GK development. See

details below:

Thursdays during the junior  
hockey season

Melvista 5pm - 5:45pm for  
beginner GKs 
 
Shenton Turf 6pm - 7pm  
for juniors with 2+ years GK experience.

Fundraiser

To help fund our excellent and

extensive coaching programme, Lions
are conducting a fundraising raffle.
Two hundred tickets are to be sold at
$100 each. Tickets can be shared and
each ticket has a 1 in 15 chance to win

a prize!
To buy tickets all you need do is email Bevan Lawrence at [email protected].
He will allocate your tickets and scan them to you after you transfer the funds
to the
