CODICIL AMENDMENT TO THE TRUST
This Amendment is made at Chennai on this 6th day of March 2007 by

Mr. V.G. Rajendran, S/o. V. Gurunathan residing at z-189, 5th Street, Anna
Nagar, Chennai – 600 040 hereinafter called the ‘FOUNDER OF THE TRUST’
and ‘FIRST TRUSTEE – MANAGING TRUSTEE’ WITNESSETH AS
FOLLOWS :
WHEREAS a public Charitable Trust by name ‘INDIRA

EDCATIONAL & CHARITABLE TRUST’ was brought into existence on
13.03.2002, by means of a Deed of Trust, registered as Document No.277 of
2002 of Book IV in the office of the District Registrar, Anna Nagar. The Trust
Fund is Rs.10,000/-
WHEREAS the Founder Trustee now further fools that certain new clauses
have to be incorporated in the Trust Deed.
NOW THIS CODICIL / AMENDMENT TO THE TRUST DEED

WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS :
After clause (10) under the heading ‘THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST SHALL
BE’ inserted towards the end:
1. Objectives of the Society hereby amended and are as follows:

The main Aims & Objectives of the Society being pursued in its
incorporation as amendments are :
“The main aim and Objectives of the Society would be for ‘charitable
purpose’, which includes relief of the poor, education, medical relief and
the advancement of any other objectives of general public utility” And,
2. ‘Objectives / Activities Ancillary and Incidental’ to the attainment of the

main aime and objectives are :
3. Medical, Healthcare, Healthcare & Development To establish, develop,
manage and maintain hospitals – either teaching or non-teaching
hospitals, nursing homes, dispensaries, clinics and primary, secondary,
tertiary health centers including rural health centers and rehabilitation
centers etc.,
4. Educational and Academic Purposes:
i. To establish, develop, manage and maintain medical, health science and
other technical institutions, including medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy,
paramedical & Allied health sciences, engineering, biotechnology,
management, information technology, computer science colleges,
autonomous educational institutions, and deemed to be universities, etc.,
and any other institutions in imparting ‘Education’ in general, whether
‘Formal’ or ‘Informal’, ‘Professional’ or ‘Technical’, and other Arts &
Science courses etc., including Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate courses,
in accordance with the rules and regulations of International or Indian
Statutory or regulatory bodies like medical council of India (MCI),
Dental Council of India (DCI), Nursing Council of India (INC),
Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI),
All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), and in addition the
rules and regulations of the respective Indian state / Central Governments
& its Ministries and / or in accordance with the rules & regulations of any
other Competent or Appropriate authorities i.e., as per various sechmes
given as guidelines by Hon’ble Supreme court of India, Particularly for
the professional educational systems in India from time to time.
ii. To promote, research and innovation in the field of Medical, Dental and
Paramedical and allied Health Science education systems teachind and to
promote continuing Medical / Dental education.
4. Research Activities:
To carryout medical research by establishing research centers /

complexes and development of all associated and allied field of Medical,
Dental, Paramedical and Allied Health Science and rehabilitation sciences in
all diagnostic, therapeutic and for a comprehensive medical treatment and
relief in a cost-effective and cost-benefit manner or most effectively and
efficiently, including providing technical-know-how, preparation of the
project report, plan, implementation and management of any healthcare
projects or international organization / society / association / society which
has similar aims and objectives.
5. Charitable & Philanthropic Services:

i. To undertake, carryout, promote and sponsor “Rural Development
Programs” particularly “Rural Healthcare Development” as defined
and declared by W.H.O and U.N. and other National or international
organization for the social and the economic welfare and for the uplift
of the public in general in rural area and to incur any expenditure and
to take up the relevant matters to the Government or any appropriate,
competent authorities & the relevant matters about conduct of the
civic amenities and Healthcare systems and Healthcare Delivery
systems.
ii. To establish and develop for the physically handicapped, disabled,
mentally retarded, spastic persons, blind, deaf & dumb and to provide
them education including other rehabilitation Medical services etc.,
and social rehabilitation in general.
