KFA — School community and home relations —public conduct on school property

Wearing any clothing item or displaying any accessory that causes or may cause a substantial

disruption to or material interference with school safety, personal safety and/or the learning

environment may result in discretionary intervention by school administrators.

KHC — School community and home relations — Distribution/Posting of Noncurricular

Materials

The following shall be considered “unacceptable” material:

o Material that promotes hostility, disorder or violence. 

o Material that is injurious to or encourages conduct that threatens disruption of

school operations or endangers the health or safety of staff and/or students.  

District staff who wish to distribute noncurricular materials shall comply with this policy and

accompanying regulation.

KLG — School community and home relations — Relations with State Agencies

This cooperative and proactive effort shall pursue the following primary objectives:

o Protection of the civil rights of all individuals.

GBEBA — Personnel — Staff Dress Code — Unacceptable items

The following items are deemed disruptive to the classroom environment or to the maintenance

of a safe and orderly school and are not acceptable in school buildings, on school grounds, or at

school activities: Any clothing, paraphernalia, grooming, jewelry, hair coloring, accessories, or

body adornments that are or contain any advertisement, symbols, words, slogans, patches, or

pictures that:

o Promote any activity prohibited by the student code of conduct

o Otherwise disrupt the teaching-learning
