1 COURSE GOALS

communicate in Spanish about yourself and
your culture and other cultures in an

COURSE

innovative and cibernetic way!

WE’LL LEARN
WHAT
Communication:
1. Interpersonal: You will speak to others in natural and spontaneous
ways. To comprehend dialogues, stories, songs, videos, films, etc., you will

speaker’s non-verbal cues, such as facial expressions and gestures;

ask clarifying questions; summarize or paraphrase what someone has
said). This is two-way communication and involves speaking.
EXPECTATIONS

2. Interpretive: You will practice strategies to understand the main

ideas and key words of spoken or written information. You will take
Cornell Notes. You also will have lists of vocabulary words to study in
