    Strengths:
     Nationally recognized for providing high quality education at a reasonable cost
     Excellent reputation in management Science
     Consistent National Rankings
     Up to date facilities and infrastructure like laboratories, teaching aids, networked
    computers etc. available to both staff and the student
     Reputation for high quality programs, faculty, and research.
     Faculty service to the university and the larger community expertise in teaching
    nontraditional students
     Alumni strength from Punjab Group of Colleges

    Weaknesses:
     Lack of targeted advertisements to students out-of-state or out-of-region
     Need for more personal relationships between students and professors, and students
    and advisors.
     Too much high-cost programs
     Low recruitment and retention level of staff due to unattractive term and conditions of
    employment
     Lack of consistent enforcement of policies and procedures
     Heavy dependence on part time lectures in some faculties

    MISSION STATEMENT:

    It is the mission of Shelter Care to provide shelter, awaken hope and honor dignity in
    every person who seeks comfort, support or assistance through our programs. Our
    focus is on individuals with a chronic mental illness and families that are homeless in
    the county area.We live out our mission through our direct service programs,
    volunteer efforts and community education. When possible, we participate in
    lobbying for resources for our members and residents, legislate for laws to protect
    marginalized people and inform policies that affect funding and regulations for
    programs serving very poor people.

    Q1: In some cases, short-term predictions are far more reliable than long-term ones.
    To what extent should businesses base their long-term planning on the views of
    “experts”?
    Ans) We cannot depend upon long term planning of experts because you do not have
    any research on market.The work of expert is to plan short term predictions so you
    took advice from experts but cannot completely depend upon expert advice.you
    should take you own idea,own the basics of your own knowledge, you should be
    aware from those who pretend to be good adviser but they are not.

    In 1966, Time magazine ran a bold prediction: “Remote shopping, while entirely


    feasible, will flop—because women like to get out of the house, like to handle
    merchandise, like to be able to change their minds.”While it is true that in 2020, many
    people still like to leave their homes and see products first-hand, this prediction was
    way off the mark and becomes more so every year.So short-term predictions are far
    more reliable than long-term ones

    Q2: Business Monitor International is one of the several organizations that seek to
    predict future trends in sectors, countries, and financial markets. How are these
    services sold to businesses as legitimate business planning tools?
    Ans) these services sold to businesses as legitimate business planning tools because
    business decisions are totally depend upon future forecasting.Business required
    forecasting for the future decisions. It is necessary because now a days complexity is
    increasing within the business decisions, so that is why these services are sold to
    companies as legitimate business planning tools because they are helpful in
    generating profits for any company.
