IV – PROCEDURES
A. Introduction What I Need to Know?
 The learner will do the walkthrough of the lesson expectations.
 In this part, the content of the lesson will be presented.
 Learning objectives will also be introduced to guide the learners on the
learning targets founded on the curriculum guide
What’s New?
Module 1
The learners will indicate the statement that might uttered by two health
professionals who helped and witnessed a COVID-19 survivor and make
an appropriate title of the situation.
After doing the activity, they will answer the guide questions provided at
the end.
Module 2
The learners will read the given scenario about “Understanding Media
and Information Literacy” on the module.
After reading the scenario, they will answer the guide questions provided
at the end of the scenario.
Module 3
The learners will analyze the image and the written statement.
After analyzing the image and the written statement, they will answer
the guide questions provided.
What I know?
The learners will answer the 15 – item pre-test from each module to test
what they already know about the topic
After answering the questions, they may check their answers on the last
part of each module to determine the background knowledge about the
given topic reflected in the MELC.
What’s In?
The learners will answer the word search puzzle in Module 1, fill-in the

preliminary concepts about the topic in each module.
They will do the activities from each modules.
After doing the activities in each module, they may check their answer
on the last part of each module.

 The learners will now ready to read and explore the topics in each

 The learners will do/perform the activities indicated in each module.
 These varying activities will help them in involving themselves in deeper
learning on the target concepts about the topics in each module.

 They are expected to reflect on the process of performing the tasks while
focusing on their learned concepts about the topics in each module
