    GUDDU BARRAGE REHABILITATION PROJECT - CONTRACT SBIP / G2


    Quality Inspection Plan for Fabrication of Barrage Gates

    Further to your letter of 18 September 2020, we hereby give conditional approval for your
    proposed QI plan subject to the following changes:

    1. Approval of Documents,
    1.3 Material incoming at manufacturer’s workshop:
    1.4 Material testing, the satisfactory positive material identification to be
    conducted by the approved material testing lab, who will determine the tests
    necessary to establish the material’s standard / grade: R to W.
    Note. Sampling procedure has been described in our letter
    339247/SBIP/CRE/2/G/1070 Dated 08 September 2020.

    2. Welder Operator Qualification,


    2.1 Welders Qualification: R to W

    3. NDE Operator Qualification,


    3.1 Welding flaw Detection / U.M.T interpretation; R to W
    3.4 Visual Inspection of all welding joints: R to W.

    4. Preparation and Painting,


    4.1 Sand Blasting: R to W
    4.2 Primer Coat: R to W

    5. Final Inspection and Shipment


    5.1 Final Dimensions: R to W.

    (R to W means activity should be witnessed instead of reviewed by the approved


    inspection authority).
