ACTIVITIES: I. PRE-LESSON: Not Applicable

1. Pupils are asked to take a note from the envelop teacher sticks
on the wall. Each pupil only takes one. *the note contains verb MORAL VALUES:
‘study/is studying’.

2. Pupils find a partner and construct a sentence using the


word/phrase they have.

II. LESSON:
Activity 1:
1. Pupils are put into 2 groups and given different information.
Group A - Simple Present rules, Group B – Present Progressive
rules.

2. Pupils study the rules and later they are going to share their
understanding about the rules to their shoulder partner and then
to the group. While the discussion going own the teacher will
facilitate them. (Correct any misconception)

3. Pupils are asked to share their information with the other group
by asking them to find partner from the other group.

4. Later pupils go back to their previous group to do the


worksheet given/the exercise on page 11.
Activity 2:
1. Q & A activity – Group A and Group B exchange their answered
worksheet for them to check and make corrections (if necessary)
2. Pupils are asked to write a new sentence by applying the rules.

III. POST-LESSON:
1. Pupils take out the note they have during the pre-lesson and
identify whether their note is about the Present Simple, Present
Progressive or Comparisons. (Teacher picks students’ response
randomly)
*This stage is to check whether they can already apply what they
had learnt.
