Demand Letter Uberas
Demand Letter Uberas
July 7, 2020
I write in behalf of my client, Mr. Jimmy Uberas, Sr. to whom you have issued and
delivered a check in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos
(P275,000.00). Your check was returned to us with the advice that the same were
drawn against insufficient funds. The details of which are indicated below:
This has rendered the check you issued in favor of my client worthless. Despite
repeated attempts to reach out to you and settle matter, the same were merely met
with failed assurances of payment and without regard to the circumstances of my
client.

Let this letter therefore serve as our formal notice of dishonor and final demand upon
you to pay in full the sum of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos
(P275,000.00) representing the total amount of your obligation within FIVE (5) days
from your receipt of this notice. Failing in which, I shall be constrained to file the
appropriate criminal complaint against you to protect the interest of my client. Upon
which, we shall likewise collect, aside from the total amount of your obligation, the
interest of your obligation from the time of our formal demand until the same shall
have been satisfied, the cost of our litigation expenses, the filing fees and attorney’s
fees.
Finally, should you consider settling your obligation to my client, please include ten
per cent (10%) of your total account for my legal fees.
We enjoin you to give this matter your preferential attention to avoid the unnecessary
costs and embarrassment of a criminal suit.
Sincerely Yours,
With my conformity:
