“The Lesson Worshop"

begins with an experiential encounter with “The

Experience a ForumTheatre Session Singapore International Festival of Arts 2015 to
critical acclaim. Together as part of
the trilogy of It Won’t Be Too Long, the
impactful participatory performance
was lauded by local media as one of the best
productions of the year in 2015. The
encounter is followed by a dialogue and
discussion exploring the aesthetic qualities
of participatory work, as well as to have an
understanding on the dramaturgical
structure of such works.

“The Lesson” asks questions about what forces
areat work in shaping our space, and whether
there is enough space for a shared
heterotopia. The audience of “The Lesson” is
presented with a scenario and participates in
collective decision-making process.
His explorations with multi-disciplinary
engaged arts has produced works like
Project Mending Sky (2008, 2009, 2012)
