Conversation About Our Favorite Food Recipe

In the canteen Anggito finished eating fried rice. Suddenly he has a stomach ache. Udin see it, he
immediately came to Anggito

Udin : “hi gito”

Gito : “Hi Udin”

Udin : “ Why are you holding your stomach?”

Gito : “My stomach hurts after eating this food”

Udin : “what food do you eat?”

Gito : “this is fried rice”

After that, Sari and Fani come to the canteen to buy food. When going to choose food Fani see
gito and udin

Fani : “Sari, see there are gito and udin there.”

Sari : Hi… What are you talking about

Udin : we are talking about the food that eaten by Gito.

Fani : what is your favorite food, gito?

Gito : my favorite food is fried rice.

Sari : how to make it?

Gito : Heat about oil in a wok heat until smoking. Add onion, garlic and bacon. Cook until
bacon is light golden. Add rice and Sauce ingredients. Shove rice to the side of the wok. Add
little more of oil. Pour in egg then scramble - cook it through properly, don't "soft scramble".
Add shallots then stir the egg into the rice. Remove from heat and serve immediately!
Udin : What if you eat my favorite food?

Fani : what is your favorite food Udin?

Udin : my favorite food is klepon

Fani : Klepon is traditional food, so there is no preservative

Gito : Udin, do you know how to make it?

Udin : first, mixed water, suji water, lime water and salt. Add rice flour. Stir until the mixture
with flat. Dough shape became small ball. Toth in, fill with some red sugar, return a rouned. Ban
boiling until float and ripe. Citt and leak through, then, roll into rasp coconut until bandage flat.

Gito : what about you fani , what is your favorite food?

Fani : My favorite food is Kentang Balado

Sari : how to make it? is it difficult?


Fani : not difficult. First, peel and chop the potatoes. Heat cooking oil, the fry the potato chopped
until golden brown, fourth saute the spice until they smell good. Fifth add fried potatoes, then
mix well until the seasoning is well blended and cooked, last serve it.

Udin : how about you ? What is your favorite food

Sari : My favorite food is orak arik telur

Fani : seems delicious, how to make it?

Sari : first heat the oil, cook the scrambled eggs. Second, saute garlic and onion. Third, add
pepper and carrot. Fourth add salt ground pepper, sugar and chicory vegetables. Fifth add the
scrambled eggs before. Then add powdered chicken browth to taste, and cook again. Last serving
it.

Fani : the bell has rang. I will go back to class. see you later

Sari : I also

Udin : I will also go to class. see you again

How to Make Egg Fried Rice

A super quick meal, using egg for protein and frozen veggies for convenience. To
make shrimp/prawn or chicken fried rice, just add it in with the onion. Tip: Keep bags
of cooked rice in the freezer, see notes - handy for quick meals! See notes for scaling
recipe up and using skillet instead of wok, and for GF option.  

Servings: 2 - 3 people
Calories: 522 kcal
Ingredients

 2 tbsp oil
 2 garlic cloves , minced
 1/2 onion , finely chopped
 120 g/4 oz bacon , chopped (optional, or use ham)
 1 - 1 1/2 cups frozen diced vegetables (I used peas, corn, carrots)
 2 cups, packed, cooked white rice (day old refrigerated or frozen defrosted (Note
1))
 3 eggs, whisked
 3/4 cup shallots / scallions / green onions , sliced
Sauce:
 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine (or sake or Mirin or dry sherry) (Note 3)
 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
 1 tbsp dark soy sauce (or light or all purpose) (Note 4)
 1/2 tsp sesame oil , optional
 1/4 tsp white pepper

Instructions

1. Heat about 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a wok or 2 tbsp oil in a skillet over high heat until
smoking.
2. Add onion, garlic and bacon. Cook until bacon is light golden - about 1 1/2
minutes.
3. Add vegetables (still frozen is fine). Cook for 2 minutes so they defrost and water
evaporates.
4. Add rice and Sauce ingredients. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes until liquid evaporates.
5. Shove rice to the side of the wok / skillet. Add 1/2 tbsp oil into the cleared space,
shift wok so the heat is centred over the cleared space. Pour in egg then scramble -
cook it through properly, don't "soft scramble".
6. Add shallots then stir the egg into the rice. Remove from heat and serve
immediately!
How to Make Balado Potatoes

Ingredients:
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 20 gram pete (about 6 seeds)
- Ringht amount of foil
Smooth ingredients:
- 3 large red chilies
- 8 onion grains
- 5 garlic grains
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar

Ho to make:
1. Peel the potataoes then was thoroughly!
2. Chop the potatoes!
3. Heat cooking oil, then fry the potato chopped until golden brown. Lift, set aside. Mash
the spice and until smooth!
4. Leave a little oil the pan, then saute the spice until they smell good and cooked!
5. Add fried potatoes and petay seeds, then mix well until the seasoning is well blended and
cooked!
6. Serve balado potatoes with warm rice.
How to Make Scrambled Egg

Ingredients :

1. 1 egg
2. 1 carrot (slice)
3. 100 gram chicory (slice)
4. Salt (sufficiently)
5. Ground pepper (sufficiently)
6. 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
7. 2 onion cloves (finely chopped)
8. Cayenne pepper (slanted slant)
9. Sugar (sufficiently)
10. Powdered chicken broth (sufficiently)
11. Cooking oil (sufficiently)

How to Make :

1. Heat the oil, cook the scrambled eggs then remove them for a while.
2. Heat a little more oil, saute garlic and onion until fragrant.
3. Add the cayenne pepper and carrots, stir well, cook until the carrots are half cooked.
4. Add salt ground pepper, sugar and chicory vegetables. Mix well, cook until all
ingredients are cooked.
5. Add the scrambled eggs before, add the powdered chicken broth to taste, cook again until
the mixture is wellmixed and cooked.
6. Taste correction. If so, remove the scrambled egg with carrot and chicory then serve
while still warm.
How to Make Klepon

Incredient:

1. 200 ml water

2. 50 cc suji leaf after to pound ang to filter

3. Teaspoon lime water

4. ½ teaspoon salt

5. 350 gram rice flour

6. 100 gram red sugar, soft comb

7. 100 gram rasp coconut

Instruction:

1. Mixed water, suji water, lime water and salt. Add rice flour, stir until the mixture with flat

2. Dough shape same became small ball. Toth in, fill with some red sugar, return a rouned.

3. Ball boiling until float and ripe, lift and leak through then roll into rasp coconut until bandage
flat

4. Klepon ready to serve
