    I. OBJECTIVES
    At the end of the lesson the student should be able to:
    a. express the relationship between the “hour hand” and “the minute hand”
    b. draw the “hour hand” and the “minute hand” of a clock
    c. show interest and enjoyment in doing the activity

    B. Developmental Activities
    1. Presentation
    a.Show an actual clock to the class. It has 12 numbers.
    What does a clock have? It has two hands, the short hand and the long
    hand.

    According to the song, what does the


    short hand tells? The short hand tells about hour.
    How about the long hand? The long hand tells about the minutes.

    b. Discussion:
    (Teacher explains about the counting
    of numbers using the skip
    counting by 5’s for the minutes)
    Which moves faster? The hour hand
    or the minute hand? The minute hand moves faster.
    If the long hand or minute hand is at
    5, how many minutes? 25 minutes.
    If the short hand or hour hand is at 6,
    what time is it? It’s 6 o’clock.
    When a minute hand moves from 1 to
    12, it is equal to how many minutes? 60 minutes
    And, 60 minutes is equal to 1 hour.

    c.Provide some examples
