Basic Job Description Surveyor :

Make exact measurements and determine property boundaries. Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation,
or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth's surface for engineering, mapmaking, mining, land evaluation, construction, and
other purposes.

Job Duties and Tasks for: "Surveyor"


a. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability
for work performed.
b. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
c. Direct or conduct surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
d. Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
e. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
f. Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
g. Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents.
h. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
i. Search legal records, survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be
surveyed.
j. Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.
k. Adjust surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy.
l. Establish fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.
m. Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and
satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS).
n. Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as performing surveys or drafting maps.
o. Analyze survey objectives and specifications in order to prepare survey proposals or to direct others in survey proposal
preparation.
p. Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data in order to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic
and topographic features.
q. Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures.
r. Develop criteria for the design and modification of survey instruments.
s. Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and
electronic data processing.
t. Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities, such as efforts to locate petroleum or other mineral
products.
u. Survey bodies of water in order to determine navigable channels and to secure data for construction of breakwaters, piers, and
other marine structures.
v. Direct aerial surveys of specified geographical areas.
w. Determine specifications for photographic equipment to be used for aerial photography, as well as altitudes from which to
photograph terrain.

Basic Job Description Material Engineer:


Evaluate materials and develop machinery and processes to manufacture materials for use in products that must meet specialized design
and performance specifications. Develop new uses for known materials. Includes those working with composite materials or specializing in
one type of material, such as graphite, metal and metal alloys, ceramics and glass, plastics and polymers, and naturally occurring materials.

Basic Job Description Road Engineer:


Provide the Project with quality engineering design services and advice for rehabilitation, renovation and construction of assigned projects.
The Road Design Engineer will be required to travel throughout the Country of Service to audit construction conformance with design intent
and to ensure the interests of the client are adhered to by the Regional teams.

Responsible maintaining a true and accurate cost structure and coordinating reporting elements key to developing accurate cost reports.
This is an interface between project management, cost management and accounting.

a. Review project features with Estimating department and ensure that work quantities are being entered correctly on a daily basis
b. Verify proper coding for phases, hours, and slips
c. Close out the completed project phases and verify progress entries
d. Conduct monthly cost review meeting with project team
e. Assign and initiate new cost codes for change orders, tracking items and back charges as required
f. Take the lead in developing quarterly cost to complete reports
g. Review and process change orders for TMC and subcontractors / vendors
h. Review and process cost adjustments
i. Identify items that are exceeding the budget and communicate to Project Manager
j. Assist project management team with quarterly reports for contract status, contract profit, unit cost report, cost projections,
revenue projects, change order status and change order costs
Basic Job Description CAD Designer :
Use computer programs to create designs and drawings for a wide variety of products. Sample resumes of CAD Designers show such
responsibilities as creating original artwork for prints, woven, and jacquard designs using Kaledo; and maintaining and operating the fabric
