1. For the next two-weeks period, you must keep a diary of the products you purchase.
This is simply a listing of the products, when, and where you made the purchase. Do
this daily.
1. At the end of the two weeks, look for 3 products you seem to “consume” most
regularly or consistently, then think back on those two weeks and analyse:

1. heritage toned milk

a. why you bought that product over the others?


The reason I bought the heritage milk because I used to the heritage brand
from childhood , in the middle we used the other brand milk but we didn’t
satisfy with the taste of the milk so we stick to the same brand and the
consistency of the product is really good we didn’t have any quality and taste
issues until now . our family perceives that this brand of milk is superior when
compared to others that is the reason, we bought this product over others

b. what advantages or disadvantages resulted from purchasing that product


over the others?
The advantages I feel from the product is a value for money and we used to
prepare curd sometimes from it and the result is thick and tasty I did not see
any disadvantage from it

c. your satisfaction/dissatisfaction with the purchase


I am completely satisfied with the product as the brand providing consistency
quality in their product
d. your intent to continue that purchase (or note if you decided to change your
purchase pattern & why)
our family is a fan of Chandra babu Naidu who is co-founder of heritage
brand. All our dairy product which we buy is from heritage. we buy from
heritage supermarket, their products where completely satisfied us which
where good in quality and value for money. our family felt that there were
using for a long time they used to the brand.

e. At the end of the two weeks, choose 3 key products and consider one major
psychological factor or process for each separate product (e.g. peer pressure,
learning, memory, perceptions, subliminal messages, etc.) that contributed
most to your consumption pattern (i.e. one different process for each of
the 3 products).
Psychological factor was our family perceives that heritage brand in Hyderabad is
superior to other brand as our family consumes these products from years. we never
dissatisfied with the product. the taste and the quality are consistent. our buying
pattern never change with the dairy product. we travelled and tried different brand
of milk, but we did not like much as we liked heritage. so, we stick to the same brand
of milk (heritage)

2. Dettol soap.
a. why you bought that product over the others?
As pandemic began a months ago, so we must use the disinfected soap to
protect from covid. I believed that Dettol is superior in sanitize products
where their advertisements motivates a lot to be safe in these pandemic and
our family doctor suggested to use Dettol products for an effective
sanitization , I used these product a while ago for the wounds cleaning, I felt
that it burns a lot while cleaning the wound which I perceives that its heals
faster , that’s the reason I buys the soap so that in this pandemic situations
its protects from virus so, we using this product after the country hits
pandemic to protect our self

b. what advantages or disadvantages resulted from purchasing that product


over the others?
The main advantage is felt that Dettol soap we use it both for bathing and
washing hands, so we do not have to purchase any sanitizer while disinfecting
our hands. I wash my hands with the soap at home without using any
sanitizer , I only use sanitizer while I’m outside which we save some money
on sanitizers , the only disadvantage is price a bit higher when compared to
the other brands.

c. your satisfaction/dissatisfaction with the purchase


I am very satisfied with the purchase I made , the smell which I felt that it’s a
superior product over any other antiseptic soap , our family started using these
product after the pandemic, I feel it’s a top-notch product which is available in
the market as I felt it’s a completely protect my family from virus and from being
sick.

d. your intent to continue that purchase (or note if you decided to change your
purchase pattern & why)
my intent to buy this product is because I have a strong trust on the brand, as its
been for a year in the market and a market leader in the segment in sanitize
ed products where most of the Indian users trust these brands.

e. At the end of the two weeks, choose 3 key products and consider one major
psychological factor or process for each separate product (e.g. peer pressure,
learning, memory, perceptions, subliminal messages, etc.) that contributed
most to your consumption pattern (i.e. one different process for
each of the 3 products).
The psychological factor for these product is the learning where their
advertisements are meant to the superior brand in antiseptics which I
watching from the childhood , I always felt to buy a Dettol brands in these
pandemic situation , our family were health conscious in order to fulfil that I
consume these product regularly to protect our self , the advertisement
build a memory structure in my mind with there latest advertisements , its
created a image that its been in the market a while ago and it’s a successful in
the market

3. Heritage milk bread:

a. why you bought that product over the others?


The softness in the bread I feel is so better its melt in the mouth easily while I
consume with the egg in the breakfast , as I have a trust in heritage brand
it have a consistent softness which I felt , and it have a affordable pricing
which I use these product regularly In these pandemic as more health
conscious and to improve my immunity I used to these bread for the
breakfast followed by egg , I felt more healthy and active after using these
product so I bought these product over others .

b. what advantages or disadvantages resulted from purchasing that product


over the others?
The advantage is that it’s have a rich in calcium which provides strength
which is important in these pandemic and longevity to the bones and I feel
that eating bread makes a lot of health benefits and I didn’t felt any
disadvantage after using these product.

c. your satisfaction/dissatisfaction with the purchase


I completely satisfied with the product, as It have a lot of health benefits
which is important in these pandemic situations, and the softness make me
to stick to the brand.
d. your intent to continue that purchase (or note if you decided to change your
purchase pattern & why)
I continued with the purchase because I used cheaper brands but I didn’t
satisfied it has a good quality and tasty ,and the consistency of the product is
improved which make me to buy as I’m a person only stick to the used brand
rather than try to the new product, so I intent to continue these product for a
longer period of time

I consider the psychological factor is the attitude towards its brand , I


believed that the image of the brand is stick to me , as I never felt the brand
degrade in quality for years , so I buys these product and I used to buy at
heritage super market its create an image in me and my family and I trusted
for a longer period . the nutritional facts in the product is bit higher that
influence a lot in buying, we use a milk mist brand bread In the middle while
I’m out of city where there is no availability of heritage bread , I personally
didn’t liked the bread as it have a bit hard and it have a different taste which I
didn’t liked it so our family prefer the heritage brand bread as we are loyal to
the heritage brand .
At the end I am conclude about my purchase is that I am more loyal to the
heritage brand because of its consistency in quality, so I prefer to buy most of
the heritage products rather than other products in the market.
