Brief Itinerary
Day 01 : Leave Kathmandu and stay overnight at Beni, evening excursion and documentary show.
Day 02 : Leave Beni for Jomsom, visit Tatopani and Dumba Lake, stay overnight at Jomsom.
Day 03 : Trek to Muktinath, visit pilgrim sites and local attractions, trek back and leave for
Marpha, visit local attractions and stay overnight at Marpha.
Day 04 : Leave for Pokhara and stay overnight with evening bon-fire and music.
Day 05 : Training session, half-day city tour, leave for Kathmandu.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu – Beni


We will start our journey from Kathmandu to Beni early morning. Beni is a small town, 3.5 hrs further away
from Pokhara, with fine lodging facilities and good food. Our 10 hour journey from Kathmandu will end at Beni
with plenty of time to relax, go out on light excursions and also to watch a documentary show.
Drive to Ghasa Arrival in Ghasa transfer to Hotel, Evening leisure, overnight at hotel.
Lunch : Malekhu (On the Way)
Dinner : Hotel at Beni
Accommodation : Hotel at Beni

Day 2 : Beni - Jomsom


Our journey continues from Beni to Jomsom with enjoyment and sightseeing along the way. Ghasa, Tatopani,
Lete, Tukuche and Dhumba Lake are a few among such attractions that would make our quest more enjoyable.
Magnificent views of the Himalayas - Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchre, Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Dhaulagiri,,
are sure to keep us is awe. Villages along the way with Gurung and Thakali cultures will also add more beauty
to our journey. Our 6 hour journey from Beni will end at Jomsom.

Day 3 : Jomsom – Muktinath - Marpha
Early morning, we will visit the God of Salvation – Muktinath, one of the most famous and important pilgrim
site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Located at the base of Khatang Kang in Baraha Gaun, it is built in pagoda
style that represents both Hinduism and Buddhism. Hindus believe that bathing in the holy water here, provides
salvation after death. For Buddhists, this pilgrimage is important as Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava is known
to have meditated here.
Other attractions in this area include sites like Mukti Kunda, Mukti Dhara, Kaligandaki River, Jwala Mai
Temple, Thak Khola, Mharme Lha Khang Gompa and Samba Gompa. Our light hike to Muktinath will
definitely leave us revived, relaxed and refreshed and ready for our quest to Marpha.
Our journey will continue to Marpha from here after breakfast at Jomsom. This historic town huddles 2680m
high and behind a beautiful ridge. Marpha is famous for its cultured lifestyle and sustainable farming also the
unforgettable special – Marpha Apple Brandy. Beautiful natural sceneries and unique cultures will definitely
amaze us.

Day 4: Marpha - Pokhara 


We will leave Marpha for Pokhara after breakfast. Lakeside Pokhara will be an ideal place for us to relax and
revive after our journey around the Himalayan region. Good food, accommodation and entertainment awaits us
here for the evening followed by a training session the next morning. Our stay here also offers us a guided half-
day city tour around the local attractions such as Fewa Lake, Bindhyabasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, Davi’s
Fall, Mahadev Cave and International Mountain Museum to name a few.

Day 5: Pokhara – Kathmandu
Our day will start with breakfast followed by a session of training on either ‘Presentation Skills’ or ‘Public
Speaking’, whichever would be more appropriate and fruitful for your group. After the session, we will leave
for sightseeing and then eventually for Kathmandu.
Our training session is well designed to cater for your group and will incorporate interaction, A/V and Kinetic
methods and also include suitable activities. Further details will be provided once a selection is made.

 Accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner every day on tour, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian
meals on rotation.

 Toll fees and other applicable extra taxes.
 Expenses for personal consumables (laundry, telephone, tips, extra beverages, etc.).
 Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the package above.
 Fees for photography and video devices wherever applicable.
 Insurance against loss or theft of property.
 Medical assistance more than first aid.
Terms and Conditions
 The tour dates will be scheduled at least three weeks prior to the actual date of travel.
 Any changes on the dates, if required, have to be informed by both the parties at least two weeks ahead.
 50% payment should be made before the commencement of the trip and 50% within two weeks of the
trip completion.
 Payments can be made either in cash or by cheques referred to ‘Kalpa Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd.’
 Charges for incidentals and services not included in the package will not be covered by Kalpa
Hospitality Services.
