A Conversation

In The Night
Taught By
Jesus Christ and Sanat Kumara
of Page 195 of A Bible Story

During that Feast of the Passover in Jerusalem many people had seen Jesus
and marveled at his miracles. Jesus however does not trust them. For he sees
into their hearts. He has no need to ask any questions about people, for he knows
of them.
Nicodemus, a great man among the Jews, comes to Jesus by night and says:
"Master, we believe that you are a teacher sent by God. No one could work the
miracles you work if God were not with him." Jesus answers: "Verily, verily, I
say unto thee: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God."
"How can a man be born again when he is old?" asks Nicodemus.
Jesus answers: "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.
Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound
thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth: so is
every one that is born of the Spirit."
Nicodemus answers and says unto him, How can these things be?
Jesus answers and says unto him, "But he that doeth truth cometh to
the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought
in God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down
from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. That
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so
must the Son of man be lifted up."
And when the Feast of the Passover ends, Jesus goes into the country of
Judea with his disciples. He stays there with them baptizing, as John had
foretold.

A Conversation In The Night
As you enter the path of the ruby ray because
you love and you love, Christ comes to initiate you
in the cycle of the Son of man. You come from love,
you return to love in the ascension. For you, O living
soul, are predestined to become a quickening spirit.
You have heard it said, “The first man Adam was
made a living soul; the last Adam was made a
quickening spirit” and that “the first man is of the
earth, earthy” and that “the second man is the Son
of God from heaven” and that the children of God
who have “borne the image of the earthy” shall also
“bear the image of the heavenly.”
The plan of God for mankind is revealed still
further: it is no less than to make men Sons of God.
You are redeemed by the blood of Christ, you are fed
the bread of the Word, abide by it, live by it, become
it. Fulfill this commandment of the Lord, for this is
the purpose of the Ruby Ray.
