    Instructions:

    Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting this Hands-on Exercise:
    • Use MS Word to prepare exercise solution.
    • You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
    • Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:
    ▪ It is submitted after due date.
    ▪ It is not in the required format (.doc or .docx)
    ▪ It does not open, or file is corrupt.
    ▪ It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

    Learning Outcome:

    After completing this exercise, you shall be able to:

    • Analyze keywords performance using Google Trends.


    • Optimize a Mobile App with relevant keywords.
    Problem Statement

    You have studied Google Trends and ASO (AppStore Optimization) in this course. You are required to
    perform following tasks in the light of what you have learned so far.
    1. Select a Website and perform the following tasks using Google Trends to analyze your search query
    (keyword). (4 marks)
    I. Mention the name of the selected website.
    II. Sign in to Google Trends (https://trends.google.com/).
    III. Fill the input field with a keyword relevant to the selected website.
    IV. Select a target Country.
    V. Take screenshot(s) showing “Interests by Graph”, “Interest by Subregion” and “Related
    Queries”.
    VI. Paste the screenshot(s) in the solution file.

    2. Select a Mobile Application and perform the following tasks. (6 marks)


    I. Open the Mobile App Store (Google Play or Apple Store).
    II. Mention the name of the selected Mobile App.
    III. Open the page of the selected App on the AppStore and take screenshot.
    IV. Paste that screenshot in the solution file.
    V. Figure out the SEO factors that are missing OR not implemented properly. LIST these factors
    in the solution file.
    VI. Now Signup and Login the APP Annie ASO tool (http://www.appannie.com).
    VII. Click on the Keyword Search option in left side menu.
    VIII. Enter a keyword relevant to the selected Mobile App.
    IX. Take screenshot of the first 10 keyword suggestions and paste it in the solution file.

    Instructions:

    You can use any website and mobile app to attempt this exercise. You need to complete all tasks and
    submit Hands-on Exercise in MS Word File.

    How to submit solution file on LMS?

    Please perform the following steps for submitting your solution using LMS:

    1) Login to the LMS.

    2) Click on the Exercises button within the My Activities section.

    3) Click on the submit button to upload your Solution.
