a. differentiate the animal and plant cell; and
b. determine the parts of a plant and animal cell.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Animal and Plant Cell

Materials: Charts, Book, Manila Paper, Pen, activity sheet

III. Activity/Activity Proper

A. Preliminary Activities
 Attendance
 Prayer
 Classroom management
 Review
B. Motivation

2. Have you asked yourselves what animals and humans are
made of?
3. Have you asked yourself what gives a human and an animal
their structures?

 The teacher will distinguish animal cell from plant cell.
 The teacher will identify the parts of both plant and animal cell.
 The teacher will distinguish the parts of the animal cell from the
plant cell.
 The teacher will discuss the functions of each part of both animal
and plant cells.
E. Application
 The students will answer the activity sheet where they need to label
the parts of the cell and state its function.

IV. Evaluation
 In one whole sheet of manila paper the students will group themselves
into five and make a Venn diagram in order to compare and contrast
