    METHOD OF STATEMENT FOR RECTIFICATION OF RC WALL BETWEEN WALL


    & RAMP

    1.0 PURPOSE

    This method statement is to simplify the works sequences for rectification RC


    wall between wall and ramp.

    The method statement also is intended to assist site personnel in the


    performance of the above activity. The method also serves to inform the client
    that the contractor has studied the requirement and is capable of undertaking
    scope of works.

    2.0 MATERIAL

    All material or raw materials to be used shall be complied with specification or


    consultant approval. Materials used are as follows: -
    a) Concrete
    b) Plywood (for protection)
    c) Well barrow
    d) Form work
    e) Starter bar
    f) And all other tools that related

    3.0 INSTALLATION & PROCEDURES


    Step 1: Clean it up.
    Make sure all the area clean before starting the construction work

    Step 2: To dismantle existing handrailing and do protection work.


    To properly dismantle existing handrailing at the ramp area and protect by
    using plywood to the existing grass crete block and walkway.

    Step 3: Hacking out existing wall ramp.


    To hack the existing wall and 100mm width walkway (until the groove line).

    Step 4: To clean away unused material.


    To removed and clean away unused material (concrete waste) after hacking
    work before proceeding with construction of RC wall.

    Step 5: Installation of starter bar.


    To install anchor starter bar at the bottom of the wall.

    Step 6: Installation of form work.


    To install form work before proceeding with concreting work.

    Step 7: Concreting work.


    To start concreting work (site mix) by pouring from the top.

    Step 8: Tidy it up.


    To open back all the formwork, tidy up all the affected area, open back all
    the protection, install back the handrailing and making good the area.

    Step 9: Handover the area


    To call for the inspection and handover the area.

    Note: All procedures stated is subjected to revise, amend and / or other


    alternatives and future discussion with parties involved.

    We’ll follow the construction drawing for the installation on rebar.

    4.0 MANPOWER

    Proposed minimum 1 gang of workers consists of 1 foreman, 2 skilled, 2 semi-


    skilled. Gangs of workers will be increased or will be revised based on
    subcontractor manpower from time to time upon request and subject to volume
    of works available.
    Overall there will be minimum one chief foreman to overall in-charge the project.

    5.0 QUALITY CONTROL OF WORKS

    In order to ensure the works are complying with the specification requirement,
    all progress stages shall be monitored closely by consultant. Final inspection
    shall be arranged ones the works completed.

    6.0 SAFETY

    We shall comply with local authority safety regulations and requirements. For
    personal protection equipment such as: -
    ~ PPE – Helmet
    ~ Safety Shoe
    ~ Safety Belt – if required
