    of the water on Earth's surface.
    It is bounded by Asia to the north,
    Africa to the west and
    Australia to the east.
    4) THE SOUTHERN
    OCEAN
    The Southern Ocean, also
    known as the Antarctic Ocean
    or the Austral Ocean, comprises
    the southernmost waters of the
    World Ocean, generally taken to
    be south of 60° S latitude and
    encircling Antarctica.
    5) THE ARCTIC OCEAN
    The Arctic Ocean is the smallest and
    shallowest of the world's five major
    oceans It is also known as the coldest
    of all the oceans. The International
    Hydrographic Organization
    recognizes it as an ocean, although
    some oceanographers call it the
    Arctic Sea.
    TYPES OF SEAS

    1) BALTIC SEA
    The Baltic Sea is an arm of
    the Atlantic Ocean, enclosed
    by Denmark, Estonia, Finland,
    Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, northeast
    Germany, Poland, Russia and the
    North and Central European Plain.
    2) ARABIAN SEA

    The Arabian Sea is a region of


    the northern Indian Ocean
    bounded on the north by Pakistan
    and Iran, on the west by the Gulf of
    Aden, Guardafui Channel and the Arabian
    Peninsula, on the southeast by the Laccadive
    Sea, on the southwest by the Somali Sea,
    and on the east by India.
    3) BLACK SEA

    The Black Sea is a body of water


    and marginal sea of the Atlantic
    Ocean between Eastern Europe,
    The Caucasus, and Western Asia.
    It is supplied by a number of major
    rivers, including the Danube, Dnieper,
    Southern Bug, Dniester, Don, and the Rioni.
