    EXECUTIVE ORDER
    No. 6 Series of 2020

    ESTABLISHING THE BARANGAY REHABILITATION REFERRAL DESK AND DESIGNATING THE BARANGAY
    SECRETARY AS THE DUTY / DESK OFFICER.

    WHEREAS, Article VIII of RA 9165otherwise known as the comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 mandates
    the establishment and operationalization of Rehabilitation Referral Desk in every barangay;

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Rehabilitation Referral Desk will endorse drug dependents to the City/ Municipal Anti-Drug
    abuse Council or to the duly authorized representative of the Dangerous Drugs Board and perform such other
    functions;

    NOWTHEREFORE, I, ALLAN C. AQUINO, Punong Barangay of Barangay San Miguel, Bani, Pangasinanby virtue of
    the power vested on me by the RA 7160otherwise known as the local code of 1991 and other existing laws do hereby
    direct the following:

    SECTION 1. The Rehabilitation Referral Desk of Barangay San Miguel, Bani, Pangasinan is hereby established.

    SECTION 2. The Barangay secretary is hereby designate as the Duty/ Desk Officer of the Barangay referral Desk
    with the following functions;
     Man the Barangay Referral Desk./
     Conduct interviews to solicit personal information from the surrenderer;
     Immediately inform the Punong Barangay in case the surrendrer is including the Target List, Wanted List or
    Watch list of Personalities of the law enforcement agencies such as PNP, PDEA or NBI and has pending
    criminal case;
     Refer or endorse drug dependents to the Municipal Anti- Drug Abuse Council for screening using the
    Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST);
     Log and maintain a record book containing all personal information of surrenderers;
     Ensure confidentially of all information of surrenderers;
     Refer expected drug users to the C/ MDAC and other institution for corresponding counseling and / or
    rehabilitation;
     Monitor progress of surrenderers; and Perform other duties and functions as may be deemed necessary.

    SECTION 3. Funding. An amount depending on the perceived need shall be set aside every year and to be included
    in the annual Budget/ Appropriations for the components in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Program.

    SECTION 4. Let copies of this Executive Order be furnished to the Honorable Mayor Cothera P. Yamamoto.
    Municipal anti-Drug Abuse Council, Sangguniang Bayan, DILG, PEDEA, PNP and other law enforcement, references
    and appropriate action.

    SECTION 5: effectivity- This executive order shall take effect immediately.

    DONE this 18th day of November 2020 at Barangay san Miguel Bani, Pangasinan.
