INTRODUCTION: Outfitters is synonymous with the terms fashions & trends specifically in

Pakistan. Outfitters, Outfitters Junior, Bang and Ethnic are all brands of the parent company
Times Clothing PVT Ltd. Established in 2003, Outfitters established in as the retail arm of Times
Clothing PVT Ltd and having its headquarters located in Lahore over an area of 70,000 square
feet, this is a company birthed out of an ambitious investment in the fashion industry by the
visionary team. Times Clothing introduced the fast fashion business concept to Pakistan. Times
Clothing Pvt. Ltd. has a long-standing commitment to sustainability. Indeed, the principle of
sustainability is incorporated into every aspect of the company's business from product design
to manufacturing and distribution. From its early days in 2003 as a manufacturer of knits and
woven, it has expanded its product range and now specializes in design manufacture,
marketing, and distribution of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories. Pioneers of providing the
latest fashion apparel to the Pakistani consumers, Outfitters has been at the forefront of
introducing the latest and trendiest clothes for the masses. With the immense love and support
of the loyal customers over the last 13 years. Today its production capacity has reached up to
1,800,000 pcs annually. Ltd. has grown to become the market leader in Pakistan with more than
65 stores spread over 14 cities. Initially Outfitters focused on Men's and Women's street smart
fashion, however, a few years later in2008 a brand for kids was launched by the name of
Outfitters Junior. In 2009 another brand focusing on the wholesale side of the market namely
bang was introduced and in 2011 a Women's Eastern Wear brand, Ethnic has been launched.
Most recently Outfitters has opened its first Store outside Pakistan in Dubai and plans to add
many other destinations to that list in near future.
USP of Outfitters: Unique selling proposition (USP) of Outfitters as also mentioned by the Chief
Operation Officer(COO) Abdul Malik is “Fashion at affordable prices” which differentiate them
with other national and international brand which either focus on fashion and brand image
making the prices high while local brands keep prices low keeping quality low as well. This is
where Outfitters can be distinguished keeping prices average by providing extreme fashionable
clothes.
Philosophy of Outfitters: Product concept is basically about providing quality products with
more features and innovation which can also be understood from the tag line of Outfitters
which is “Fashion in Price”. Marketing concept basically focus on to understand the needs and
want of customer. Customer satisfaction is the key of success of any organization. To
understand the need of the customer is highly important. (Kimerey & Rinehart, 1998).
