Yarn: Lace by Malabrigo yarn [100% Merino 430 m (470 yards) / 50 g] 2 skeins. Shown in color 145 Forest
Or approximately 840 m (920 yards) of lace to fingering weight yarn
Needle: 60 cm (24”) circular needle obtain gauge -- Sample is worked with 4.5 mm (US 7) needle.
Notions: Waste yarn (for cast on), crochet hook (for cast on), 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle
Gauge (after blocking): 18 sts and 48 rows = 10 cm (4”) in garter stitch, slightly stretched horizontally
(give priority to stitch gauge)

PATTERN
CAST-ON
CO 160 sts using provisional cast-on method.
Join for working in the round, being carefully do not twist it.
Place beginning of round marker on right hand needle.
FRILL 1
Rnd 1 (inc): Kfb to end. --320 sts
Rnd 2: P to end.
Rnd 3: K to end.
Rep these 2 rnds 8 more times then rep Rnd 2 once.
BODY
Pick up 160 sts unraveling waste yarn of frill 1.
With right side facing, place beginning of round marker on right hand needle.
Rnd 2: K1, kfb, k to 3 sts bef m, ssk, k1, sm, k1, k2tog, k to 2 sts bef m, kfb, k1.
Rnd 3: P to end.
Rep these 2 rnds around 110 times or to your desired length.
Keep at least the amount used for the first frill for the second one.
FRILL 2
Make as frill 1 (remove center marker on first rnd).
FINISHING
Weave in all ends. Soak in water then squeeze the moisture.
Hang it (as shown in the picture) to dry.
