    Dear JONNEL R. ALFONSO:

    I write in behalf of my client ARNEL RONQUILLO. It appears that you issued


    and delivered to my client the following checks for valuable consideration:

    Eastwest Bank 0000902780 ₱250,000.00 August 4, 2020


    Eastwest Bank 0000902784 ₱260,000.00 August 15, 2020
    Eastwest Bank 0000902782 ₱3,000,000.00 August 18, 2020

    However, the said checks when deposited for payment were dishonored by the
    drawee bank for the reason “DAIF”. According to my client, he would not have parted
    with his money had it not for your assurances that the said checks you issued would be
    duly funded upon presentment for payment. As it now appears, you just inveigled and
    defrauded my client to his damage and prejudice.

    Demand, therefore, is hereby made upon you to make good the said checks or
    otherwise pay their values to my client within five (5) days from receipt hereof.
    Otherwise, I’ll be constrained to file criminal charges of ESTAFA and VIOLATION OF B.P.
    BLG. 22 against you in order to protect my client’s interest.
