    PLAINTIFF’S RETURN / MANIFESTATION

    Plaintiffs, by counsel, to this Honorable Court most respectfully make a


    return of alias summons by publication and manifest that:

    1. On February 22, 2021, plaintiffs received Order dated Febraury 9, 2021,


    directing plaintiffs to cause the publication of the alias summons and to
    submit proof of compliance thereof within TEN (10) days from notice;

    2. On February 23 to 26, 2021, the Office of the Clerk of Court is closed due
    to the closure and disinfection of the Iloilo City Hall of Justice pursuant to
    Memorandum No. 5-2021 issued by RTC Executive Judge Ma. Yolanda
    Panaguiton-Gavino, the plaintiffs had to wait on the next working day,
    March 1, 2021, to have the raffle of publisher at the Office of the Clerk of
    Court;

    3. On March 2, 2021, plaintiffs had the alias summons published with The
    Manila Times National Newspaper through its local counterpart, Journal
    Visayas. Attached herewith the copy of the AD Quotation and Receipt of
    Journal Visayas for said publicaiton as ANNEX “A” and “B”;

    4. On March 3, 2021, The Manila Times published the alias summons, but
    due to distance and the travel limitations brought about by the pandemic,
    the certficate of publicaiton and actual issue of the publication is yet to be
    received by the plaintiffs, instead a printed photograph of the page of the
    publicaiton of alias summons is hereby attached as ANNEX “C” and the

    scanned copy of the certficate of publicaiton is hereby attached as ANNEX
    “D” as proof of publicaiton; and,

    5. Plaintiffs will submit to this Honorable Court the certificate of publication


    by publisher and the copy of actual issue of publication once the same is
    received from The Manila Times.

    WHEREFORE, premises considered, plaintiffs pray that this manifestation


    be noted and that the original copy of the Alias Summons is respecfully returned
    to the Honorable court, DULY SERVED BY PUBLICATION in a newspaper of
    general circulation nationwide.
