In one of your encounters with art through museum visits, musicals, and plays among others, have you ever felt
disconnected from an artwork? Was there a point in time when you did not understand what message the art was trying
to convey? Explain why you think you did or did not understand the art.

- Yes, there are times that I felt disconnected with an artwork maybe because the experience that the artist
has in doing that art does not happened to me. It will require me a lot of time and analyzation just to
understand that kind of art and also explanation. Because as artists grow and challenge themselves, they
increasingly create works that require a lot of background to understand, and their work becomes unique
and aesthetic which happens to be hard to feel connected.

1. What art field will you explore? Why?
- I want to explore visual art, particularly drawings. Ever since I was a child, I draw a lot, though I’m not a
professional artist I’m really trying hard to improve my drawing skills. I usually draw anime and some cartoons I knew
from watching. And also, I wanted to improve my photography skills, since I like to take photos of nature, I wanted my
photos to become high-quality shots and at the same time photos that will capture the attention of the viewers.
2. How can you utilize the arts to express yourself, your community, and your relation to others?
- I will use the arts as my way of showing my emotions. As we all know, we use logic and reason to attribute
meaning to what we see or what we create. I will use words/visuals that will easily create connections to the viewers.
