Step-by-step explanation
Boeing is an American multinational and world's largest aerospace company that
manufactures, designs, and sells telecommunication equipment and airplanes worldwide.

Boeing's customers wanted the flexibility to configure passenger space because they desire
to have more comfort and flexibility. Business routes or business class people demand
more space devoted to first class and the business class.
Cabin space has been divided into sections which are separated by fixed galleys and toilets
at predetermined positions. It fixes the ratio of passenger capacities of all classes. That is
why it does not give much comfort to passengers as per their requirement.

However, the airlines indicate that customers wanted to configure their cabin to their
requirements or in terms of space. Preserving valuable cabin space will help a company to
generate revenue for a long period of time.
Boeing maintained a close relationship with its customers, so it did meet the requirements
or needs of the customers.
