CM:

Good afternoon! I am Christine Mae Rodriguez from section 5A and we are here to present the
remotivation therapy.

This therapy is usually used by a group interaction to develop interaction between the
Nurse and the rest of the clients. This therapy brings the clients towards in their “Reality”
where the patient can be aware of the outside events that has been happening, in our
activity we will conduct some which emphasize to boost the client’s awareness,
socialization and lastly self esteem, we will conduct different guidelines through our the
therapy, starting from step 1-5

Step 1- Climate of Acceptance

● Saying something positive towards the client and to other people in the group
For example “Ang ganda mo ngayong araw na ito.”
Step 2- Bridge to the Real world
● This is where we will develop some so called bouncing questions related to the
topic of the session
Step 3- Sharing the World we live in
● This is where the group can ask questions come up of 10-15 questions
Step 4- Appreciation of the work of the World
● This where the props will be used as they relate the conversation.

Step 5- Climate of Appreciation

● This is a closing of session to the positive note and thank each members for
participating.

MONIQUE:

One of the therapeutic values of this is to reach the ‘unwounded’ areas of each patient’s
personality and to get them thinking about reality in relation to themselves. This can also
stimulate their communication, vocational, and social skills, and interest in their environment.
and help clients by promoting self-esteem, awareness, and socialization

These are the mechanics for the therapy.

✔ The clients are set up in a circle of 8-10 people.

✔ The session may last for about 45 minutes

HONEYWELL:

STEP 1: CLIMATE OF ACCEPTANCE. This may last for 5 minutes.

a) Greet the person by his/her name.

Example: “Good morning Pedro.” “Good afternoon Juana”

b) The human touch is socially acceptable

c) Compliment the client

Example:

d) Individually greet each person

REGI:

STEP 2: BRIDGE TO THE REAL WORLD (15 minutes)

a) Normally there are three to four questions in Step II with four possible answers. This
way the answer leads to the next question. The last question in step II leads into the poem
which is objective in nature. (Remember! If a client chooses not to reply or may not know the
answer to the question that is acceptable. If this is the case than thank the individual and
proceed to the next individual asking the same question.)

● Sa umaga, ano yung mga kadalasan ginagawa nyo? Mahiga, manood ng tv o kumain?

- KUMAINNNNN!!!!

● Ahhhh kumain. Ano yung karaniwang kinakain nyo sa umaga? cereal, itlog, bacon, o
oatmeal?

- OATMEEEAAALL!!

● Someone said oatmeal –Ano yung nilalagay mo sa oatmeal: milk, sugar, o prutas?

- PRUTASSSSS!!!

● Someone said fruit – that is our topic today!

b) Start by reading a poem related to the topic. (Poem is read the clients or the clients can
read it aloud to the group.)
Kumain ng masustansyang pagkain

Prutas ay dapat nating kainin

Tulad ng mansanas, pakwan at saging

Mas lalong lulusog, bubuti ang katawan natin

c) Ask questions to encourage participants to recall and share ideas related to topic.

Ask questions about the poem: Sino, ano, bakit etc. (This is to make sure everyone is on the
same page.)

CATHY:

STEP 3: SHARING THE WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE (10 minutes). Let us attempt to move focus to
world as it currently is.

Begin to ask questions related to the topic such as:

● Ano ang paborito mong prutas?
- Mansanasss
- Mansanas din po
- Mansanas
- Saging
● Tuwing kelan ka kumakain ng prutas?
- Tuwing umaga
● Saan nakatago ang inyong prutas?
- Sa refrigerator

BAYA:
STEP 4: APPRECIATION OF THE WORK OF THE WORLD (10 minutes)
Ask questions relate to the topic and work the resident may have engaged in during their life:
● Nagtanim ka na ba ng prutas? Anong prutas ang tinanim mo?
- Opo. Nagtanim po ako ng mangga
● Anong prutas ang karaniwan nyong binibili sa palengke?

mansanas pero meron is ana ang paborito ay saging”
