This pattern is written using US terminology and is worked in continuous
rounds unless otherwise stated. If Jenny is made using the materials described,
she will be about 30 cm (11.8 inches) tall.
Skill level: Beginner / Intermediate
YOU WILL NEED:

♥ Yarn
(I used Egitto Titan Wool 100% cotton; 50g/127,5m).
White, pink and mint green.
♥ Crochet hook 2.0 mm (or according to the yarn you use)
♥ Polyester fiberfill
♥ Plastic safety eyes (8 mm) and plastic safety nose. But you can make the
. nose with cotton yarn too.
♥ Black cotton yarn for stitching the eyelashes and pink for mouth.
♥ Darning needle
♥ Scissors, stitch marker
You need only one pink. I used one for the dress and with the other one I only
stitched the mouth. But you can use the same for both.

ABBREVIATIONS:
ch = chain
dec = decrease
dc = double crochet
inc = increase
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
st = stitch
Chain (ch): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through loop and hook.
Decrease (dec): Insert hook into front loop of first stitch, repeat into front loop
of next stitch. Yarn over and pull loop through both loops on hook.
Double crochet (dc): Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through
stitch (there should be 3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through both
loops left on hook (there should be 2 loops left on hook), yarn over, pull loop
through remaining loop on hook.
Increase (inc): Work two single crochets into the same stitch.
Single crochet (sc): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch (there
should be 2 loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through both loops on hook.
Slip stitch (sl st): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch and loop on
hook.

HEAD
With white yarn.
1: Start 6sc in a magic ring [6]
2: Work 2 sc in each st around [12]
3: (Sc in next st, inc in next st) x 6 [18]
4: (Sc in each of next 2 st, inc in next st) x 6 [24]
10-25: Sc in each st around [54]
26: (Sc in each of next 7 st, dec) x 6 [48]
Insert plastic safety eyes between round 19 and 20 (10 st apart).
Insert the nose between round 21 and 22 or stitch it with pink cotton yarn.
Stitch the eyelashes and mouth with cotton yarn. Close the washers on the
inside of the work.
Stuff the head with polyester fiberfill and continue adding stuffing as the work
progresses.
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
LEGS AND BODY

Legs and body are made in one piece.
Start with white yarn.

Bind off the first leg. Leave a yarn tail about 20 cm long and cut the yarn. Put
it aside until you prepare the second one by repeating rounds 1-26.
Important! Do not cut the yarn after you have finished the second leg, we will
continue with connecting the legs.
Now join the legs together. Continuing with the second leg,
27: Sc in each of next 15 sts, ch 8. Continue around the first leg (starting
with the first st in what would have been the next round).
Sc in the each of next 15 sts, ch 8. You have now made 46sts (15 sc + 8 ch
+ 15 sc + 8 ch). The piece is still open, but will be joined to a round with the
first stitch of the next round.

Close the hole between the legs using the yarn tail left for the first leg. Stuff the
legs with polyester fiberfill.

Hold the legs towards yourself and work in front loops of round 32.
1: Pull the yarn through the first loop and ch 2.
Starting with the same stitch. Work 2 sc in each st around [92]

2-3: Ch 1. Starting with the same stitch. Sc in each st around [92]
Repeat rounds 1-3 and work in front loops of round 34.
Sew the body to the head.

Repeat rows 3-4 32 times or as long as you have the scarf you wanted.
Make fringes. Cut 10 pieces yarn about 4 cm long.
