TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
The undersigned visited the Chitrakoot Ropeway site on 18/03/2021 Thursday and
found the ropeway in operation and pilgrims visiting to Hanuman Dhara Temple.
The ropeway is constructed at Hanuman Dhara Hill at Chitrakoot by “DAMODAR ROPEWAYS &
INFRA LIMITED”. Address 1/A Vansittart Row, Damodar house, Kolkata West Bangal,700001.
 The ropeway consists of two stations LTP & UTP, three towers and one pressure frame.
The LTP consists of three floors having total area of 3880 Sq.ft. The UTP consists of two
floors having total area of 2640 Sq.ft.
 The height of three towers is 6 M., 7 M., and 18 M. The height of the pressure frame is
24.40 M.
 The diagonal length of the ropeway is 302 M. having a level difference of about 107M.
(Vertical height hill top to bottom) There are 12 nos. cabins of 6 (six) passengers each in
the ropeway line having a capacity of 500 passengers per hour.
 Both the stations food outlet(furniture work in under process). LTP is having space for
stores machine room etc. and two toilets for ropeway passengers& staff.
 The total water requirement is done by Bore well and requirement has been estimated
as approximate 6 KLD. Water is being used mainly forflushing, drinking, hand washing &
horticulture purposes.
The estimate is amount of Rs. 12Crore(Rupees Twelve crore) only to show the probable cost of
the above mentioned Scheme. The following provision (item) and measurement is taken in this
estimate.

Note:-
1. During the time of preparation of this Civil work (Building estimate only) estimate
the schedule rates of M.P.P.W.D. issued by Engineer in chief M.P.P.W.D. Bhopal in
force from 15th June 2014, Taken for the year 2020-2021.
2. This Estimate is prepared on the request of “DAMODAR ROPEWAYS & INFRA
LIMITED”. For capital expenditure incurred while establishing a tourist project
eligible for a capitals subsidy under clause6.12 (installation of Ropeway
infrastructure for transportation in tourist place/forest areas.)of Madhya Pradesh
tourism Policy 2016 amended 2019 place at Hanuman Dhara Hill at Chitrakoot Dist.

Item no.1: Details of site & Project approvals:Land acquired on lease from District
Collector Satna wide Order dated 12-01-2017 for lower terminal, upper
terminal, and Erecting 3 Ropeway towers. Lease deed dated 22.09.2017
enclosed Total land acquire 0.200 Hectare i.e. 2000 Sq.mt.
Ropeway Construction Permission Order Passed by Nagar Parishad Chitrakoot,
District-Satna for use of Land & building to be constructed as Ropeway and Copy of
Approved Map for construction of Ropeway Order by Nagar Parishad Chitrakoot,
District-Satna.
Cost of land (Registered value) is Rs. 52.00lakh.
Item no.2: Cost of civil work like building Tower foundations etc. Rs. 410.00lakh.
WORK DONE IN LTP(please refer estimate table-1)
2.1 Entrance building area having area of 12.75 M.x8.5M.=108.37sq.m and it have
03floors; in this area ground floor is used as machine setup and staff area.
First floor is used as control area and second floor is used as restaurant purpose

 but interior work and furniture work of kitchen is under process.Then total
covered with terrace is 326sq.m(3500.00sq.ft) M25 grade concrete material is
used for footing, columns due to machinery installation in this building so the
Cost of this item is around Rs.80.00lakhs.
2.2 Passenger queue area, in this area (12.75 M.x8.5M.=108.37sq.m)have 02 floors
then total covered area is 216sq.m(2300.00sq.ft) so the cost of the item is
Rs.15.00lakhs.
In this area ground floor covered with RCC roof and upper area have GCI Sheet roof.
2.3 Toilet blocks areais 6m.x5M. =30sq.m it consist of 3 bathroom with toilets so the
cost of this area is Rs.2.5lakhs.
2.4 Ticket counter is constructed in 2mx3m =6sqm. With RCC roof. And DG platform
is constructed in 3mx4m =20sq.m with RCC base. So the cost of area is
Rs.3.00lakhs
2.5 Main drain connected with Nursingh Dhara is constructed by PCC Base the size
of drain is 120m x2m and Boundary wall constructed around the campus with
brick work and fencing wiresize of the boundary wall is 56m.x2m. so the cost of
both the item is Rs.20.00lakhs
WORK DONE IN UTP(please referestimate table-2)
2.6 Demolished a shop have R.C.C work including stacking of steel bars and disposal
of material. Approx 287Cu.m. by the rate of Rs.564/-Cu.m. Then total value is
Rs.1, 61,868.00due to coming in tower footing area.
2.6.1 Scrapping, cleaning and straightening reinforcement from R.C.C or
Reinforced brick work. Around 50x160qtl. So t5he cost is Rs.8000.00
2.6.2 A new shop constructed near UTP has area 200sq.ft. With Supplying
and filling in plinth under floors, trenches including watering,
ramming, consolidating, dressing, complete. RCC roof work. Value
around Rs.1033/-per square feet and 35% total value cost added for
man power then cost is Rs.2, 80,000.00.
2.7 Demolished stairs having cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix. Approx
area50sq.m.Andnewlyconstructed in entrance of temple area below UTP this
stairs covered the area of 2.5mx20m. =50 Sq.m and vertical height is 10m. so the
cost of this stairs is Rs.2.00lakhs
2.8 Emergency gate is constructed in back side of the LTP and UTP area this
emergency gate is constructed in 24sq.m. area, Providing & laying cement
concrete 1: 2: 4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic
stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centring and shuttering. but
material lifting charge is increased by 50% because height of the area so the
construction cost increases and completed in Rs.15.00lakhs.
2.9 2Nos. steel revolving gates (2.2m.x2.1m)are designed with 1gear and 2bearings
in entrance of both side of ropeway. Actual cost of the gates is Rs.1.23lakh as
per bill shown in the site.
2.10upper side station of the ropeway is constructed in 15mx14m =210sq.m, heavy
steel structure truss is used with GCI sheets in roof, and below the station area a
restaurant is constructed (furniture work in under process) have an area
14.4mx13.3m = 191.52sq.m., due to height of the tower area the cost of this

 construction is increases 35% of the construction cost so the cost of construction is
Rs.200.00lakhs
2.11 footing (7mx7mx.8m) and height of the column is 7m so the calculated cost is
Rs.35lakhs(installation of tower not included)
2.12 Add 6% cost for electrification of building cost Rs.20.00lakh
2.13 Add sign boards cost Rs.10,000.00
2.14 Add Rs. 5lakh for the man power or other material lifting charges
Item no.3 Cost of power, sub-stations, Transformers, generator backup Electrifications etc.
Rs. 89.50lakh bill presented in the site.
Stabling the power substations, transformer, electric line with electric pole, DG power
backup and all other electrical fitting required is done in the site.
Item no.4 Ropeway machining cost,transportation and erection etc. Rs. 600.00 lakhsbill
presented in the site.
Such other fixed structure plant and machinery, equipment required to completeand
operate the area with machinery installation.
Itemno.5 Safety devices like fire, and other Accidental hazards Rs. 25.00 lakhs as shown in
the invoice.
Such other fixed safety devices are used to rescue the passenger at the time of hazards
like fire, storm, rainstorms, machinery failure etc.And other sufficient arrangements are
made for any type of emergency.
Fire extinguisher, Numetic brake, Thrusterbrake, overload relay, emergency push button
etc. is installed in the site.
Itemno.6Miscellaneous Expenses. Like cost of Approval, deposits, consulting Charges, Sewer
Treatment plant, and waterline etc.- Rs.23.50lakhsbill presented in the site.

2. Explanation of only civil work sheets (Table-1, Table-2 is attached with this certificate.
3. The cost includes all labour, material, equipment and machinery required to carry out
entire work including common facilities, but does not include marketing/advertising
costs, salaries not directly attributable to the project, and loan/interest repayment to
financial institutions.
4. Attach the List of Extra items executed if any with Cost (which were not part of the
original Estimate of the total Cost) and justification.
