What Types of Building Are There in Your City?
Well, when it comes to my city, Ho Chi Minh city, the first thing that comes to
people’s mind will be a developing metropolis with a mixture of the historical and
modern buildings. The historical buildings consist of many temples, pagodas, and
monuments, … meanwhile the modern ones include many high-rise apartments,
commercial complexes and office blocks,
Are historical buildings important?
Yes, absolutely. Actually, historical buildings are important to every city, region and
even country. They are witnesses of t2e past and it’s very crucial and practical that we
preserve them to pass on knowledge to the next generations.
Absolutely. No one likes an eyesore. It is like something really ugly and big at the
same time that you have to always notice it from afar. The appearance of a building is
considered to be as important as a good impression of a person. For example, when
a tenant enters a building what are the things that they see? It must be the architectural
or aesthetic style. Therefore, in a highly competitive market place, the appearance of
a property can not only go a long way to attracting new clients, but also can
help retain clients and maximize asset value. In fact, it may become
something iconic of the town or a city if it is well-designed.
I live in the west in a house of stone walls. The surroundings are very peaceful and
simple. The fresh air makes me feel more comfortable and love life. There is a
hospital near my house. That is very convenient and safe. Around there are houses far
apart, so it is very spacious and airy. Especially behind my house there are 5 fish
ponds and land for growing many kinds of fruits such as coconut, jackfruit,
banana, .... I love the place where I was born and raised because it gives me a normal
life. the eccentricity of a country child and a beautiful soul. MY neighborhood is very
friendly, they are willing to help us when we need it
BUILDING
I’m going to tell you about a new skyscraper located at the heart of Ho Chi Minh
City, which is called Landmark 81, and it’s currently the highest building in
Southeast Asia, with 81 floors. The building was opened and put into use on 2018. I
got to know this building when I moved to Ho Chi Minh City for my university
life. I live in District 7 so I usually go there by motorbike for about 45 minutes.
The original design of this tower is inspired by bamboo trees, which symbolize the
Vietnamese people’s solidarity and strength. The lower floors are shopping malls,
while the upper floors are offices for rent and restaurants serving customers
I really enjoy the leisure time I spent there because it helps me relax after a hard
working day, I can see the beautiful city from distance and enjoy a city that doesn't
sleep for a real chill with my family or my friend
