REVISITING KHAJURAHA* BHASKAR PHOTOGRAPHY

It was the third time I went to Khajuraha (yes it is

Khajuraha not Khajuraho) till now its not kind of a
tour I wanted

Why?

because I always wanted to stay there for a long time

one day for a Temple because there are so many
theories about the history of that place so maybe in
some other Blog i will discuss about the history of
Khajuraha .

for now enjoy the photos

All the erotic sculptures(The reference of these
sculpture maybe taken from Vatasyayan Kamasutra)
are at the outer walls of the temples. inside most of
the temples there is nothing- just silence, a cool
peaceful milieu, with the vibes of thousands of years
of people meditating.
This UNESCO World Heritage site is far from being a
petty representation of the Kama Sutra. The temples
here, in fact, illustrate the idea of life that engaged
aesthetic objects to create something inspirational
Thousands of artisans worked on
stones and they created the most
beautiful figures on the temples.
Khajuraho statues of stones
speak, sing, dance which seems
to be alive and coming out of
temple walls.

Sculpture of Ganesha
This is the latest Temple from Khajuraha premises
Inspiration from kamasutra
The Vishwanath Temple ("Vishwanath" means "Lord of the Universe" and is one of the attributes of Shiva) belongs to the most
precious group of Hindu temples in Khajuraho, those within the Western enclosure. The sculptures of the temple present, at the
highest stylistic levels, motifs similar to those visible in the other most famous temples in Khajuraho: deities, mythical animals,
surasundari (celestial ladies) engaged in different activities: they dance, play musical instruments, cradle babies, or they simply
show themselves in sensual attitudes: a feast for the eyes! The sculptures of the temple present, at the highest stylistic levels,

or more subjects as protagonists.
In conclusion i would say It is the best Temple in Khajuraha premises so go and visit.
Every year
Khajuraha dance
festival held in the
month of February so
if you are planning to
visit go in that season

That’s it
