geri-psych, ICU, bone marrow transplant, detox, behavioral health and post op units
● Work in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate the patient’s best care
● Trained to conduct Nutrition Focused Physical Exam, diagnosing patients with malnutrition and initiating
the proper interventions
● Effectively assess and advocate for indications for enteral versus parenteral nutrition, and determine the

● Created and led new programs at YMCA Southcoast including a nutrition program for members,
involving private, personalized coaching - working with individuals on their health goals i.e. achieving a

providing culturally competent nutrition counseling to over 100 youth and families
● Implemented and ran the Way to Grow classes – a weekly wellness class for the families of Steward

and engaging games.
