Summary
Four+ years of experience in Structural Analysis of Low pressure and High pressure compressor
components of various Gas Turbine Engines such LEAP1A, LEAP 1B, Silvercrest, Passport P20,
UHPE, UHBR-DD, GE90-90B and GE90-115B.

Work experience

Associate Consultant June, 2018 - Present

Capgemini Technology Services India Pvt Ltd
Project 1: Repair validation of casings using FE modeling

 The project aimed to study the influence of enlarged holes on the structural behaviour.
 MSC Patran was used for modeling the casings with Hex elements and ABAQUS was the solver.
 After the completion of the FE Modeling, the loads, pressure, temperature boundary conditions,
material and section properties were assigned. Displacements, stresses between the reference
and the repair models were compared and analysed to validate the repair.

Project 2: FE modeling and analysis of casing with an endoscopic hole

 The FE modeling of casing with an endoscopic hole was performed with Hex elements using MSC
Patran software.
 After the completion of the FE Modeling, the loads, pressure, temperature boundary conditions,
material and section properties were assigned. Displacements, stresses at the endoscopic hole
were studied.

Project 3: Repair validation for HPC compressor using 2D-Axi FE modeling

 The 2D FE modeling of HPC compressor was performed with Quad and Tri elements using
ANSYS Workbench software.
 After the completion of the FE Modeling, the loads, pressure, temperature boundary conditions,
material and section properties were assigned. Displacements, stresses at the repair region were
analysed.

Engineer I Sep, 2015 – June, 2018

Safran Engineering Services India Pvt Ltd

Project 1: Support activity for bearing support, stator, rotor and spool

 The defects occurred on the components during the production are analyzed by determining the
stress concentration factors, its effect on the maximum allowable stress of the component etc.
 After analysing the defects suggestion is given for rework of the components, scrapping of the
component etc.
Project 2: FE modeling and analysis of stator and rotor vane

 The FE modeling of stator and rotor vane was performed with tetra elements with stringent
quality criteria using ANSYS Workbench software.
 After the completion of the FE Modeling, load, pressure, temperature boundary conditions,
material and section properties were assigned. Mode identification, Campbell diagram
generation and Weaklink analysis were performed. The results were post processed and report
was generated.

Project 2: FE modeling and analysis of bearing support

 The FE modeling of bearing support was done with Hex and tetra elements with stringent quality
criteria using ANSYS Workbench software.
 After the completion of the FE Modeling, tightening load, FBO load, temperature boundary
condition and material properties were assigned. The results were post processed and report
was generated.

Project 3: FE modeling and analysis of non-conformed components

 The FE modeling of the non-conformed component was done with Hex elements with stringent
quality criteria using Hypermesh software.
 After the completion of the FE Modeling, tightening load, temperature boundary condition,
material properties and FBO load were assigned. Non-Linear analysis was performed in order to
analyze the effect of the non-conformance on the displacement and the stresses of the
component. The results were post processed and report was generated.

Project 4: Support activity for bearing support, stator, rotor and spool

 The defects occurred on the components during the production are analyzed by determining the
stress concentration factors, its effect on the maximum allowable stress of the component etc.
 After analyzing the defects suggestion is given for rework of the components, scrapping of the
component etc.
