In Memory of

Officer Michael Weiskopf

5/16/1969 - 8/27/2021
Michael David Weiskopf was born in Bronx, New York on May 16, 1969 to
Lois Stein and the late Norman Weiskopf. He is survived by his younger
brother, Daniel Weiskopf. Mike will be dearly missed by the love of his
life, Karen, whom he married in 2002 and his two four-legged buddies,
Rocky and Harley, their family dogs.

Mike spent his life serving the public as a chiropractor, firefighter and
EMT before joining the St. Petersburg Police Department in 2003.

He was a dedicated and faithful member of the police department,

where he spent the majority of his career in the Traffic Section and most
recently served as a Traffic Homicide Investigator.

Mike fought hard, but lost his battle with COVID-19 on August 27, 2021.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The Lord makes me lie down in green pastures and

leads me beside the still waters.

God restores my soul;

guiding me in straight paths for God’s name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil, for You art with me;
Your rod and staff comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You have anointed my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Last Call
When I say I love you more,
I don’t just mean I love you more
than you love me. I mean I love you
more than the bad days ahead of us.
I love you more than any fight we will
ever have. I love you more than the distance
between us. I love you more than any
obstacle that could ever try and come
between us. I love you the most.
