AND MODERNITY”

RATIONALE:
Pandemic may not allow school to conduct face to face classes, still it did not hinder
teacher to teach and guide and students to continue their learning and to hon their skills. For the
first time ever, the Introduction to meeting, incentives, conferences and management class will
conduct Event Management in a virtual setting. It's a chance for students to prove how flexible
they are in adopting current changes in the world and can still manage to conduct such
magnificent event.

With the theme "Hospitality and Tourism: Riding the Waves of Seasonality and
Modernity", it focuses on unveiling opportunities in every season of the year and the advantage
in competing globally by embracing modernity. It makes one to be aware, to learn, to adopt, to
grow and have a full grasp on the rapid advancement, development, and changes on how
Hospitality and Tourism give services to everyone.

OBJECTIVES
1. To understand and recognize the patterns of changes to adapt new trends.
2. To have a focus on assembling the hotel offers based on the changes of cultural tourism
and implementing marketing with the use of improved technologies.
3. To determine possible strategies that can be used to manage seasonality.
4. To better understand the advantage of using modern Technology in Tourism and
Hospitality industry

Strategies for Promotion

The promotion will start if the concept paper will be one of choices among others by the Promo
and Printing Committee. This will be conducted in different ways such as the following:
 E-poster will be created that will be share across social media.
 Teaser video will also be added to any social media.

DOCUMENTATION COMMITTEE
There will be a member who will be responsible in taking screenshots, taking pictures in every
speaker, responsible in recording highlight videos that will be proper documented. They are also
the one that will be assigned to make a e-Certificate that will be given to the Registration
Committee for distribution.

SPEAKERS

Mr. Lloyd Luna is the first and Only Filipino to represent the
Philippines in the Global Speakers Summit. He was also the
Founder and CEO of Step back, a culture transformation
company that helps leaders and organizations see the bigger
picture in life and work. Also, the founder and the President of
the Philippine Association of Professional Speakers and has
been an Asian Motivational leadership speaker for 14 years
Radio and television talk-show host, songwriter, publisher and
serial entrepreneur. Mr. Luna has been a resource speaker in
over 1,000 conventions, conferences and seminars. He is the
youngest board member of the Global Speakers Federation.

Mr. Hollan D. Columna is a graduate of Saint Paul


University Philippines. After he graduate, he decides to study
again in CACS-Center for Asian Culinary Studies by Cafe
Ysabel to take another degree for him to continue and pursue
his dreams. Applying all the skills and trainings, he works
hard until the time he finally owns three shops which are the
Juvall’s Grill Restaurant, Roselina Cafe-Bar & Don Jose Pizza
and Pasta. Aside from that, he also owns three branch of
grocery store and a bakeshop.
