2.1. Sterilize/ sanitize nail care tools

Sterilization- is the process of destroying all living micro-organisms.

Sanitization- is the process of destroying some, but not all micro-organisms.
Disinfectant- is a substance used to control micro-organisms on non-living surfaces such as
tools, equipment, and furniture/ fixtures.
Antiseptic- is an agent that prevents the multiplication of micro-organisms. Since it is milder
than a disinfectant, it can be used directly on the skin.
Fumigants -a chemical that produces fumes used to disinfect or purify an area.

Preparation of Metals Implements for Sterilization
