    • The place value of a digit is always 10 times as great as the place


    value of the digit to its right.

    Example:
    In 2013, Barangay San Sebastian harvested 64,789 kilograms of
    mangoes.
    What does each digit in 64,789 mean? Study how 64,789 is written
    in the place value chart.
