LOCAL PRODUCTS

Bukidnon

1. KAPE- Comes fresh from the fourth highest mountain in the country, Mt. Kitanglad in Bukidnon.
In partnership with Philippine Coffee Alliance, Kape Hu Mapayag is made by Kitanglad Guard
Volunteers, an association of volunteers from the 28 villages located at the foot of Mt. Kitanglad
and who are leading the protection of the mountain range.

3. HAND WOVEN- Each hand-woven products is unique because they don’t only want their
customers to stand out, but they also encourage their seamstresses to express their artistry in
their work. This products also shows support to Bukidnon tribes by tailoring Bukidnon ethnic-
inspired and/or tribal-approved clothing.
4. PINEAPPLE- Pineapple-based products is one of the local products of Bukidnon since it was the
country’s major producer of pineapple. The world famous pineapple products maker Del Monte
Inc., owned one of the largest pineapple plantation on the world which is located in Bukidnon.
5. MUSCOVADO- Muscovado is chemical-free and a healthier alternative to regular table sugar
because it is unprocessed and retains its vitamins and nutrients. It comes in two varieties -
Golden Brown and Dark Brown.

Camguin

1. LANZONES- Camiguin has been known for its distinctly sweet lanzones, owing to its fertile
volcanic soil, where the fruits thrive.
2. SEA GLASS- seaglass products is a line of beautifully designed necklaces, bracelets, earrings and
other accessories that make use of discarded glass that have been molded by the ocean. The
bespoke sea glass inspired pieces are upcycled and handcrafted by the women of Agoho

Lanao

PALAPA- This Maranao staple appetizer/condiment is best paired with fried or grilled foods, soup, or

3. DRAGONFRUIT- And let us now put the spotlight to this glorious glamorous fruit: the Dragonfruit.
This rounded pinkish fruit on the outside with a red pulp in the inside is one of the Ozamiz' pride. To
further capitalize with this marvelous fruit ,Johann of Johann's Cuisine is making dragonfruit
flavored ice cream.
4. KOTER- So here’s a drink not intended to be drank by minors: koter —a mixture of tuba (coconut
wine), tablea and egg. Oh yes! This native concoction is a hit in Misamis Occidental. In fact, a batirol
— a wooden tool used in mixing chocolate — is used to make the drink frothy.
5. SUMAN- What makes Clarin’s suman different is its fusion of diverse flavors. Currently it offers 20
flavors — including the classic plain suman, as well as ube, langka, mango, pineapple, chocolate,
cheese, yema, latik, buko and even durian.

Misamis Oriental
1. HIGHLAND- ighland Fresh, is owned and managed by the Northern Mindanao Dairy Cooperative.
Northern Mindanao Federation of Dairy Cooperatives (NMFDC) is the only secondary dairy producing
cooperative in Northern Mindanao operating its own milk processing plant and directly marketing its
finished products. NMFDC started with 7 primary cooperatives in 1987 and to date, it has a total of 13
primary cooperative members in Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City. Highland Fresh
dairy products are 100% pure cow’s milk.

3. TURONES- Peanuts are a favorite pasalubong fare for most Filipinos. As a sweet peanut treat,
turones de mani is a sweet delicacy made of crushed honey-coated peanuts, caramelized sugar, and
wafer wrapping. You can find it in most pasalubong shops in the city. It’s the perfect treat for those
who love sweets.
