    I. Call to order
    The meeting was called to order by John Paul S. Clemente, Senate President.

    II. Attendance

    III. Opening Formalities
    The opening prayer was led by John Paul Clemente in place of Stefanie Joy
    Anatan, Senate President Pro-Tempore

    IV. Roll Call of Officers


    The roll call was led by Lyka-Mae Drije, Senate Secretary, and it was
    determined that the meeting had a total of 13 officers present out of the 16
    Legislative Department members; and in addition, 6 officers from the Executive
    Department and Mr. Adryan Valiao who was our guest speaker.

    The 1st LCCB Student Senate Virtual Meeting was declared in quorum by John
    Paul Clemente, Senate President.

    V. Recalling of the Election of the Legislative Department


    The Legislative Department Election was recalled by Lyka-Mae Drije, Senate
    Secretary, by reading an excerpt from the minutes of the 4 th Virtual SSG
    Meeting.

    VI. Introduction of Elected LCCB Student Senate Officers


    The Student Senate officers introduced themselves and shared a brief message.

    VII. Introduction of Members of the Legislative Department


    The members of the Legislative Department introduced themselves and shared

    VIII. Review of the LCCB SSG Revised CBL & Resolution Writing Clinic
    The Review of the LCCB SSG Revised CBL was led by former LCCB SSG
    President, Mr. Adryan Valiao. This was followed by his discussion about
    Parliamentary Procedures in particular, Robert’s Rule of Order. Mr. Valiao ended
    the consultation through the Resolution Writing Clinic.

    In detail, the following are Mr. Valiao’s talking points:


    a. Discussed the previous legislative term
    b. Shared the accomplishment report
    c. Discussion of organizational chart
    d. Discussion of the LCCB SSG Revised CBL
    e. Responsibilities of Senate Officers
    f. Advised for making resolutions
    g. General officers’ assembly (Executive and Legislative Officers)
    h. Constitutional Commissions
    - Commissions on appointments

    - Commissions on Audit
    - Commissions on Elections
    i. Guidelines of Revisions
    j. Transitory Provisions
    k. Presented and explained the Parliamentary Procedures
    - Call to order

    - Minutes
    - Treasurer’s report
    - Committee (Standing and Special)
    - Unfinished business
    - New business
    - Adjourn

    *Due to some clarifications and necessary revisions regarding the Senate


    Committees which were inquired during item VII, the Senate President
    decided to move the Introduction, Election and Presentation of the
    Standing Committees to the next meeting; therefore, these shall be
    moved to unfinished business until motions are passed.

    IX. Other Matters


    a. Advocacy & Program Planning
    Mr. Valiao gave some advice for electing/appointing of the Standing
    Committees.
    b. Questions and Finalization
    The Student Senate was reminded of the next Virtual Meeting which is set
    on the 18th of September 2021.
    X. Adjournment
    Stefanie Joy Anatan, Senate President Pro-Tempore, moved to adjourn the
    meeting; it was seconded by Maria Rica Cabalatungan, SARFAID Senator. The
    meeting was adjourned at exactly 4:55 PM.
